So, Stage 1 (The golem) and Stage 3 (The monster) of this fight are simple enough. I have a problem with Stage 2 (ROFLStomp-your-face Kudu).
Kudu has a "kill shot": An attack which appears to do 100% of your health for damage. The attack animation goes as such: Kudu looks at you, sparkles for a bit, and then you’re downed, which is usually followed by death when Kudu takes the next shot.
This attack animation is difficult to spot, as there’s often a lot of sparkly stuff flying around in any given fight. He also teleports around, and if he targets you after a teleport, you’re screwed, unless you can figure out where he teleported too fast enough.
But assuming you see the attack comming...
As far as I know, you can’t reflect it. I tried the Engineer shield and the Guardian reflect wall. Neither stop it. I’m also not sure if you can dodge this attack. When I tried, I either dodged too early (still hits you) or too late (obviously, still hits you).
So what am I missing? I can’t assume the attack is supposed to hit you, because he fires it too often for this to make sense...or is this supposed to be a massive DPS/Rez race?

He has the warrior’s “Killshot” animation. He’ll turn towards a character, take a step back with 1 foot, aim for about a second and a half, and then shoot.
We 3 manned this guy when we were spamming CoE story to get it on all of our characters. I’m not saying his design is perfect, because he’s tiny and particle effects suck, but if you pay attention, you should be able to see it. Especially seeing how he only has the 1 attack and the teleport.
They should give him a better effect, and a sound cue to let you know it is coming. Maybe a targeting laser that points at the player that he has targeted. Then have him shout something, or make a very distinct noise just before firing.

I usually disagree with almost everything you say, but I have to admit, that laser would actually be a pretty good thing to add to him.
Deadeyes in Arah and Riflemen in CM already have the little target circle around your feet that tells you that they’re about to shoot you, which gives you plenty of time to dodge, but the laser at Kudu would actually be better imo.
Most mobs that have one strong channeled attack actually glow white when they do it. You just said that he sparkles for a bit. That’s your hint that you should dodge if he’s turned in your direction.
Baring that, it’s easy enough to rally the player that got downed if your team isn’t sleeping and actively try to heal him.
