I don’t know if i’m posting this at the right place. If so, please let me know where I should put this instead.
I’m reporting two players from Baruch’s Bay, who decided to kick me out of the party after having completed the 3rd fractal in level 32. Why would they do that? Well, their “reason” was that I killed the kitten chickens for the achievement, which made them “loose time” (in fact, not more than a couple of minutes). They were friends from the same guild and had been harassing me in spanish (i’m spanish too, but the other 2 members of the raid weren’t) during the whole fractal for stupid things like “staying behind” (i’m an elementalist lol).
I don’t know if there is something to do with it, but I’m so angry right now that I couldn’t just accept it. I have screenshots of the leader of the party (who was not one of them) whispering me and explaining to me that he could do nothing. I tried to join the party several times after they kicked me, but these two just would kick me again until they invited one of their friends.

I’d like to denounce this kind of attitude, the fact that only 2 players can have the right to decide who is kicked from the party without the consent of the rest of the group is not logic.

Their character names are “X” and “Y”.

They may have a lot of good points to do that i suggest you in your interest to not report them

If i may just give you few advices without being offensive i would suggest you to pay more attention to what people says.

1) chickens….its quite rude to make a Whole Group lose time (it takes way more than few minutes) wait at level 32…
You should get those achievement on lower levels asking permission to the party.

You just decided yourself and ignored the party’s will this get you booted by any Group and its quite deserved.
You are with other 4 players you should respect the Group and not expect them to be at your service.

2) staying behind in ascalon:

This fractal is supposed to have 5 players support the Group of NPC and not vice versa.
If ANY player stays behind he prevent NPC from entering combat.
That is why you have to go in the frontline then as NPC strt the fight come back.
Mobs hits so hard thakittens not important if you are a guardian or an elementalist.

This is just an advice but almost any Group would ve booted you probably

send the names to anet support with the relavent time and see what they see fit to do about it.

As Lord Byron said, there’s a good chance they were upset at you not pulling forward into the fights in Ascalon fractal because the NPCs were on you in the back. If you come forward to where everyone else is, the NPCs will come forward and join the fights. Also, making your whole team wait while you kill the chickens is very rude. You should have asked their permission.

By staying behind, I don’t mean staying afk, or far away from them!
I’ve been doing fractals for a long time, and I know how it must be done, I just was attacking from the distance, as the ranger who was with us was doing too.
It is true that while we were killing the first group of mobs after the gate i forgot about the npc and some of them stayed with me, that was a mistake from me, but it wasn’t a trouble. After that, I was just returning behind when I was sure there were no npc staying with me, as I do everytime I have to deal with that fractal. They kept blaming me for staying behind, just because they didn’t like me.

The chicken’s matter… I wasn’t expecting them to be at my service, actually the rest of the party didn’t mind about that. The only trouble that I could cause to the party, was when I went to kill the one which is in the middle of the first area, before the gate, and got killed. However that didn’t disturb them at all, it’s not like I brought mobs to them or I made them wait, I could resurrect quickly as they went ooc at that moment. The rest of the chickens were in our way, so apart from that, I didn’t cause troubles.
These were only excuses to invite their friend, as Skamlic says.

The forums is definitely not the place for this. If you don’t want to go ingame at least report through support.

as i said before, don’t join a group of 3+ guildies playing together. They can easily kick you for random reasons.

Or just join a guild and do fractals with ppl you know. It is called Guild wars.

Actually this is happening a lot. People complete the 3rd fractal and then kick someone to invite a guild member for the forth fractal. I really wish Anet would do something about this.

If the contention is you were going your own way killing chickens and killing yourself and some of that time the npc is following you in that process, I’d have to say in this case it’s mostly on you OP. Don’t ask for respect if you aren’t respecting others. Asking for achievements at 32 is a lot to ask for, especially if you are in a random group.

I really hope this thread is a joke. I can’t believe any sane person would come to the conclusion you did after you admit to running off to kill chickens and, in one case, dying doing it.

I would have kicked you long before they did if you had done that in my group without at least asking/saying something.

Maybe the OP should have asked his party if they could help him get the chicken achievement?

Maybe the chickens should have asked the OP if his party minded him killing them

Sorry but if you’d just went off on your own killing chickens without asking if the others mind/telling the party anything, I would have kicked you as well. If you want the chickens achievement you can roll Ascalon fractal on FotM level 1 by yourself and do it solo without holding back the rest of the group.

If you expect your party members to show you some respect, then you first ought to show them some respect as well.

Well a kick on the third fractal is maybe a bit undeserved for that, I think I wouldve carried on with you with a bit of an annoyed taste. Though you made a mistake by not asking them if they want to kill the chickens and if they confronted you with that you should apologise. I think both sides overreacted a bit.
