Guild Wars 2

My better half and I have been playing since release but neither of us has ever been big dungeon runners. However we both would like to get into duoing dungeons but are unsure which classes would make the best duo combo and which dungeons we should start with. Eventually we would like to work our way up to some of the Arah paths. We both have 80s of most professions, are able/willing to gear out as required, and have already started researching builds and paths. The two aspects we are unsure of and I hope the dungeon community can assist with are:

1. Which two professions would compliment/synergies well for dungeons?
2. In terms of duo difficulty which paths would fit into each of these categories: beginner, intermediate, advanced and impossible/nearly impossible (i.e. Arah 1).

Doesn’t matter as much as experience really. Just make sure you run full DPS setups otherwise you’ll struggle more, as all encounters are significantly easier when you’re able to shorten the encounter and thereby reduce the opportunity for you to make mistakes. Regardless of which class and what gear you use, you’ll fail as long as you don’t know a boss’s mechanics. This is why it’s ideal to pick a class you have the most experience with and learn a boss fight thoroughly in full DPS setups.

By the way, aside from Lupicus most Arah encounters are pretty easy compared to a lot of other dungeon path bosses. Lupicus has a steep learning curve but he’s fun.
