The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
So I was there at release and have been meaning to return for sometime to wrap up some of the achievements there (I’m at 10/17).
I’m here seeking advice about the best way to approach this.
My memory is that it was a difficult path in the sense that it required good team coordination, compared to other dungeon paths, so it may be hard to organise a PuG. I’ve stuck my head in the ‘lfg’ and rarely see any groups for it, perhaps just one person who seems to be lfg for quite some time.
My current guild is more WvW focused so it may be difficult to get people into this. I did see this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Dungeon-Mentors-Noob
But it seemed more directed at new players learning the mechanics with a focus on Arah’s and FotM.
I could post in the Community Corner: Looking for… see if I have luck their. I generally play Ocx time but could rejiggle my schedule if NA time worked better.
Any feedback would be appreciated. <3
it’s about 50/50 in pug.
50% of the time some pro is able to carry me. 50% of the time other people are inexperience and wont’ be able to carry me.
you really only need 1 or 2 good players that’ll be able to help you breeze through it.

Was this through the ‘lfg’ feature?
What timezone was this and how long did it take to form a group?
i’m in NA server. usually play 1 or 2 hour after reset.
I just use lfg. like 50% of the time there is some pro who got bored and run people through aetherblade. So if you have some luck you’ll get good players that are able to help you through it.
the other 50% you are on your own. you probably can get through it, just take much longer with inexperienced player.
It shouldn’t take long to fill the group. But many people joining might be clueless. They dont’ know they joined one of the hardest dungeon in the game.
I don’t consider myself “pro,” and I certainly don’t carry people, but I have run aether path dozens of times and have helped several guildies and friends get their achievements. You are welcome to add me to see if our play times match up and try to get a group together.
