Greetings,

I’ve just hit personal fractal lvl 73 which means I am able to start joining T4 Fractal groups.

However since I don’t want to be a handicap for the team I’ve got a question – what legends (generally, not saying about specific encounters) run Revenants at lvl 81+?

Boon Thieves is what makes me wonder – what should I do? Totally forget about Glint and went into Shiro/ Mallyx? Or play Glint / Mallyx and rip boons with Mallyx?

Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Necros are fine with corrupting boons, but since you only remove them with mallyx, it’s meh, they will take them back a second later.

Never used Jalis tbh, was always running with Glint/shiro or Mallyx when we didn’t have boon cleaning from other classes (or ventari for harpies).

Jalis is good the the hammers floating around you. But sometimes when a boss is near a wall, it won’t upkeep, if you can position yourself better, keep Jalis, if not Mallyx is a good option for the elite.

But this is assuming you got quickness, if you don’t, I’m not sure Jalis is worth over impossible odds from Shiro.

We don’t take Rev in 5 man comp anymore so didn’t test it much.

Well, not much of a choice on my side as Revenant is my only full ascended character and I don’t have other plate (heavy) users.

When I say “we don’t take Rev”, I talk about my guild.
Because we know the war and eles will do their job, rev can be really helpful in unorganised team comp or pug.
You’ll rarely see an ele stacking fury before a fight, and a lot of PS can do bad rotations, and that’s where your Rev will shine

Run with my group. We did the 3 T4 dailies yesterday with 3 necros, 1 warrior, and a mesmer. The 3 of us necros just stripped/corrupted the boons they stole from us INSTANTLY and epidemic’d them to all the adds. Fractals with necros is a joke, we do the 3 T4 dailies everyday in about 30-40 min, depending on which ones come up.

If you have no necros or mesmers, run Glint/Mallyx. Yes, they steal boons, but avoiding a couple of 25 might hits with Mallyx strip is still valuable. Mallyx is also great for Mai Trin, you’ll be immune to condis and so will your group with the immense amount of resistance you’ll grant them.

If you have at least a mesmer or necro, run Jalis.

There’s no reason to run Shiro whatsoever because you can’t use Impossible Odds while upkeeping Facet of Nature, which you SHOULD have up.

Jalis will give you the option of stability, guaranteed bar breaks with the taunt, or Vengeful Hammers which is still a DPS boost and makes you take significantly less damage.

Jalis is also besides Mallyx the only legend that allows you to cope with conditions thanks to its heal.

Shiro has been utterly overnerfed since its inception. It’s now a very niche legend used for the superspeed when you need the extra movement as a gimmick in combat, or when you’re out soloing.
