I have a few questions regarding this. First of all, anyone can tell me the formula to calculate damage so i can be able to compare different stats? Like to know how much power would be equivalent to a certain amount of precision, or what would be equivalent to ‘’+X% damage’’ or similar modifiers when trying to compare them to stats, since often different runes will raise different attributes and i know that usually power>precision>ferocity but i don’t know how to compare the stats with rigor or how the damage% fits in the equation for that matter.

Scholar runes are still the main choice i assume? But what if, for whatever reason, i can’t keep my 90% hp+, which runes are then the best option, strength? What if i can’t rely on my group for might stacking, would there be a better option other than strength, maybe Ranger runes? What if they ’’fix’’ them and other than Mes and R the other professions can’t benefit from them as they used to, would Pack runes be the choice? Im assuming that other options such as Ogre and Mesmer runes, or Ruby orbs, would be slightly worse than Pack. Any other runes that can be good for a specific profession like Rangers (i heard that Guardians have that one burning rune set on their own), anything else?

I know its alot of Ifs, i just want to be aware of the possible scenarios. Im not a dungeon runner but that could change in the future and regardless i want to have my characters ‘ready’ in case i decide to do a couple runs.

- Scholar : As long as you can keep the buff for 60%+ of the time its the best option

- Ranger : Good option with Mini. Not good for a thief since he already have a good amount of crit chance. They could fix it, but its been more than a year so, we know.

- Strength : A bit less dps than the Ranger rune, but allow you to stack more might. But that’s more of a pug rune. In a composition, its useless. A good option in solo.

- Flame Legion : Good cheap rune when you put fire or you are alway playing with ppl putting fire (Guardian, staff Ele, etc).

- Pack : A bit better than Ranger in solo situation or when your party don’t give fury. Otherwise its not a good rune.

- Ogre : Correct dps, but the rock dog can do more harm than good in dungeon. It’s a pet that you can’t control.

Mesmer run is bad, Ruby orbs is the less dps. Should only be use if you don’t care because they are really cheap.
