[SC] Solo Ascalonian Catacombs P2 [13:33]
This is a really nice run, but you actually cut footage at 12:16 video time and it then picks back up at a different point in time. Do you have any unedited footage of that period of time? We can’t approve it as a record with that cut present.
I ll upload a new one
Approved. Thanks!
Always a pleasure to watch.
One question as I would like to solo some stuff orher than AC story.
Do you recommend me starting with warrior (or engi for the matter) in order to learn the stuff and then switch to ele in order to improve the times? I am afraid of eles being too unforgiving

Start on ele, they have access to blinds and superior AoE damage which makes the dungeon a cakewalk.
^^ Ele has all the tools, it’s simply a matter of learning them. Knowing the dungeon is good and all but your success is more about learning the Ele, and you ahve to play it to learn it! Personally I’m a very bad ele
working on it though!
Ele is the class that you need to dodge a lot. Both in PvE and PvP, figuratively.

Well, I feel very comfortable as staff ele. I cant enter to d/f tho and I dont know why cause I really like theengi metabuild.
I’d rather use the class I’m most comfortable with which would be engineer for me. You have good AE damage and good survivability thanks to blinds/blocks/vigor and the dps is also pretty good. Sure you won’t be stacking might like warriors or eles and lose a minute or two but as long as you are enjoying it I don’t see any reason not to use engi.
And good thing about engi is that condi solos are also a good option. I find sinister engi to be much more fun to play than standard meta because of the huge amount of numbers flying all over.
And if you use engi you can claim a record.

Don’t worry because D/F is between 10-15% sustained DPS loss compared to staff anyways, and that’s not even factoring in meteor showers nor is it considering the fact that a staff ele’s initial burst can be absolutely insane.
D/F is usually worth it when you absolutely need the swirling winds or if you just like the playstyle. If you aren’t able to use ice bow #4 and meteor shower pretty much off cooldown due to needing to avoid projectiles then D/F is probably worth taking.
