SE Path 1
Did they change being able to hold one of the first wave of dudes till you get to the first boss fight? I thought path 1 was very easy. We couldn’t beat the double golem boss in path 2, though.
I just attempted the mode. You’ll need 5 high dps (read: berserker warriors) players and a willingness to zerg rush to get past the first golem, as doing it the way Anet presumably intended (as in, killing the waves) is impossible, even with the highest dps specs and builds in the game. You instead just rush past them, bash down the golem, die, let the accrued mobs run past, then do some more rushing to get past Nokk.
It’s hard to believe there are any testers in this game, because if they try to make the claim that it’s doable with a team in blues and greens the ‘normal’ way they’re blatantly lying
While I do agree that it needs to be fixed, you do not need 5 warriors in full berserker gear to do it currently. I completed this with a guardian, warrior, ele, necro, and a thief a few days ago.
In my opinion, they just need to make the mobs stop spawning once you reach the boss on the platform. Currently, if you don’t pull the boss to the far end of his platform and fight him there, mobs will stack up on you and make it very difficult to kill the boss.
