Why did you nerf Samarog in the last release? The Rigorm phase is a total joke now and all coordination it required is basically removed, for both nm and cm. This seems wrong to me. Hopefully it is just a bug?

Honestly, the invuln Rigom seemed like a bug which simply got fixed.

I think it is more than just a bug fix. You are probably talking about the bug which caused Rigorm to stay invulnerable until he comes out of the bubble and does that heavy dmg AOE once, which was usually caused by electro wyvern CC pets.
But there seems to be more than this. Once Rigorm is in the bauble he looses health so fast after the Jotun becomes immune to damage again, that he can barely move anymore. Taking entangle or extra pushes is totally worthless since Rigorm will never have the chance to leave the bauble once you have him inside.

Rigom had a long invuln before the patch. The patch did nothing except remove it, but the consequences of it is that conditions from one burn phase will carry on to the next. This is why he looses health so fast, and why he almost instant die for each 66/33 phase.

What they could have done is to give him a condi cleanse each time he get back to full health. He could also use some more base health.

why cant they just remove how the phase mechanic works and rework it, maybe make rigom desperately running into guldheim and we have to keep them separate , otherwise rigom explodes and wipes pt or something.

Heck no, current AI pathing and aggro is way too sluggish (not to mention buggy) for any more movement-based mechanics. Getting VG to move in a circle is painful enough.

That sounds like you are right. Hopefully they implement that condi cleanse to make this phase interesting again.
