Can something be done about this? Seriously?

Can’t we just make it so players have to carry a bundle to the magmacite, instead of having to rely on incredibly bad and buggy and inconsistent NPC AI?

The best way I’ve seen him work is if you have the person he is following and one heavy armor or fast class rush him across

When you reach the other side everyone that was left behind ports to the first or nearest waypoint.

The people he isn’t following have to stay away from him.

Why do we NEED these NPCs again? Can’t we kill [insert boss name here] and read a cool story without having a kitten around?
