Selling paths: Okay or not?
It’s okay according to a dev that answered a while back, though a lot of people frown on it. As long as you’re not kicking people to sell spots or cheating anyone it’s legit.

Thanks for the answer, if a Dev commented a while back I am sure it is fine now as well. No scamming / cheating / kicking here, we started it for a service as a few of us experienced horrid groups trying to get our DM titles haha
I thought w/ recent nerf on p4, Arah should be much easier now and you guys would be on the unemployment line. Obviously, I was wrong.
BTW, I love my title: Combat Healer. Work extremely well in dungeons like Arah.

I saw some groups offering Arah path 2 for 2-3 gold, which I thought was odd, until I saw a LFG post offering 4G!
I don’t think its doing anything illegal though. Personally I don’t see the point, but it doesent affect my game, so good luck to them.
Now even more people will be selling spots.
I don’t understand, are people offering people gold to play arah with them? and why?

Because not many people do Arah it seems.
I remember LFG posts with 15g for P4 with Simin killed so it’s not that bad guys, even though I don’t understand selling spots now since all Arah paths are pretty much doable for average groups (even Simin, maybe with a little bit practice).
A lot of people do Arah. It’s just that 90% want experienced players. Either they buy their way into a group that will do it or into one that’s at the final boss. You’d be surprised how many people would be willing to spend 4 gold to finish a path in Arah.
Things like this make me a sad Fang..
One of the best experiences for me thus far came a few weeks ago when my guildies and I defeated simin. We wern’t even a OMG ZERKER ONLY PING NOOB group, just 5 adventures that had honed their skills and teamwork on the other paths before attempting this. She had the 1-hit then back into invisible and we just learned to be more efficient.
Now that we are familiar withi Arah we are now running other guildies through it but no free rides. Everyone in our guild will earn their title. If you need to make money by carrying others or need someone else to get you that title, that is your right and I doubt bannable, though i wish it was.
However those of us who earned it will always know that we are better, and it is pretty obvious who the bad players are with that title if they actually ever step outside of LA and are instantly downed by a moa.
Why not offer a full arah p4 run for gold? Four experienced players mentoring lesser experienced ones. If you were any good this shouldn’t be a problem and you be helping the community.
I really wish I knew about this before, after doing path 3 for the first time a few days ago it immediately became my favourite dungeon for not being a lame dps fest like a lot of the other ones are.

I think it’s fine, and I remember a dev commented it was fine.
I just hope nobody actually agrees to it, but I know people will.
Just don’t accept the money and kick, that would definitely be scamming.

even with the nerf p4 takes 1 hour minimum with a good group that knows what they’re doing. Not to mention, buyers usually also have trouble with lupicus.
personally I have no problem with path seller. I never had to use them though
