Seriously... Please fix Arah!
Yeah I posted about this issue about a month ago after trying it twice and wasting 6 hrs total… I think the problem lies the NPC dying at Jotun Stargazer but not to sure. Can’t confirm this but maybe try having someone solo the Jotun while the rest of the party stay back so the NPC doesn’t die? As much as I’d like to try it, I don’t wish to be a guinea pig again to a bug which seemingly isn’t even being investigated and waste more with this path.

I find it somewhat strange that Rober Hrouda posts here quite often, but never on a single topic about the problems of Arah, namely:
1. Bugs in meta event that prevents entering the dungeon
2. Bugs in different dungeon paths that prevent them to be completed
3. Not a single comment about Simin. Working as intended or not?
Suggestion specifically for the Dungeon world-builders (which I’ve used in Valve maps & Starcraft maps for doors that are prone to this behavior): Put in an override switch near all these doors which tells the Server to re-check all of the boolean handlers responsible for opening the door. …or just one that resets all of the Variables to their original state and then reprocesses them (but put a cooldown time on these switches so there’s no chance a party can Spam it to try and break something or exploit the system).

Gates are now bugged again… can’t run it at all. This happens EVERY week, to the point when it’s open for half a day, then shut until next patch!
Please sort it out.
Dev’s have acknowledged the issue but not said anything about fixing it or it being worked on with a fix coming out soon. There’s just been complete silence on this issue for the most part. I don’t get it…

Yesterday me and my guildies went to Arah… yay at last we where LUCKY that the @#*$&^ gate was not bugged (for me it was first time on explo, but still didn’t finish personal cuz after the run gate bugged again :/)…
We gone path 3, fought Lupicus – EPIC great boss omg the words just stuck in my mouth :O – the fight experience felt great “do not make mistakes, or go to hell*” It felt great to kill such a monster I had fun fun fun love Lupicus! MOAR bosses like that please

Next path 4 it Was fun until we got to Simin… I mean “what the hell” ? After 4-5 invis phase we decided to search the forums/youtube for some answers. We tried and tried and tried multiple tactics with sparcles, with dpsing the “hidden” priestess unfortunetly we wasted 4-5 hours total we manage to get the sparks near altar in 6 seconds and wasted 20 to get the @#&^$% balls in it’s place they just didn’t want to get to their places… after that experience, just left Arah… I don’t think I will go there again becouse experiencing bugs does not motivate one to play even for nice looking armor/weapon sets, also I won’t recommend any of my friends to go there for any path other than 3.
After that terrible experience we did CoF (1,2 too demotivated for 3 from Arah…) and HoTW only 1st, and wanted to do AC explo all 3 paths from 3 starting. CoF went nice, we were just angry at stupid NPC AI in 2nd path with flame-extingushers. HoTW path 1 @ troll boss a pack of wolves from upstairs just pulled (WTF how ?) and at the end of the all things AC path 2 Detha bugged at cannon event… we had enough of it… and just log out demotivated.
I’m trying to be calm trying to explain myself “ok the team has a lot of work with the game, it’s still fresh etc.” but for someones-holy’s sake those bugs appear from the very begining and the team is busy with events (helloween) and new content(lost shores) and next events(winter), well I really like them they are fun well made it can be seen hot much heart they have but now they ended and what do we do now where most of the Dungeons are bugged as hell and there is no light of hope that they will be fixed… and I mean fixed cuz some where fixed 2+ times and still the same thing bugs over and over and over.
To clarify not “bugs” themselves are annoying but I/we know bugs “are there” they are a part of MMOs it’s nothing new… but so much wasted time, so much disappointment that I… well we just log out from the game becouse the time we had was not fun… it was annoying and disappointing.
Yesterday we wached the interviev with someone from the GW2 team (sorry don’t remember the name) about the new dungeon and we were so exited about it but after today I’m afraid to even go there and experience new bugs wich won’t be fixed for several months
I really love the game and want to play it, want to help it evolve and support it… but there should be more fun than disappointment as for today it wasn’t fun.

If you can’t out DPS Simin you’re doing it wrong.

So if I get You right. All party should go full Berseker/Rampager and full trait offensive, utility offensive and just do nothing but DPS-the-hell-out-of-her for only this particular boss ?
If that’s what the mechanic demands “go full nuke builds and gear or fail” I’ll just won’t ever go on path 4 becouse I never played and never will play glass cannon builds (I find them stupid and idiotic, but love meeting them on WvsW the die sooo nice – It’s only my personal opinion) and so others from my team.
If we can beat up every other boss in every other dungeon with our party but not that one “cuz You have to out dps her” so that path is just not for ur
Thank You for clarification. I got my answer.
For simins, after activating her and getting her down to 50% the first time and having her stealth healing, imprison only 4 sparks while keeping 1 up. Keep hitting her until she stealths the second time THEN put the last spark in.
This method should work if you suspect she is bugging and keeps restealth/healing at 50% rather than on timer/not taking damage while stealthed like it’s supposed to. Worked marvelously for my party when the neither the standard way and attacking through stealth didn’t seem to work.

It’s been bugged since launch with not a word spoken by a dev concerning it. Getting really tiring having to panhandle in overflows just to access a dungeon I -should- be able to walk into, but can’t. Cursed Shore in general has a lot of problems that feel like they’re being disregarded.
At the front page there are 7 topics concerning the bugs of Arah. AFAIK Arah is “the” end-game dungeon of GW2 and I’m somewhat bewildered of it current state and how long it’s been such. Not a single dev comment about fixes either.

So they’re trying to get people do to their dungeons, and then go ahead and attach the entrance to a huge event which is bugged all over the place?
Not going to work well… Havent been able to do Arah for some time, im 120 badges away from my chest and i would like to ahve it before my legendary…
