Is drop rate reduced? I havent seen single drop in ages.

60+ mostly

Its a rare drop nonetheless. Maybe ure just being unlucky.

From anecdote, it definitely feels like it’s considerably reduced compared to what the drop rate used to be.

Since no one has ever thoroughly tracked the drop rate of this, it’s not like we can say with any certainty if they nerfed the drop rate or not.

Maybe when they were re-doing the rewards for single fractal islands, it slipped their mind that the drop rate for this ought to be exactly the same as it used to be, and they instead divided the drop rate by 1000+ like they did with most of the other drop rates (or accidentally ran it through a convert percent to decimal function a few times, or whatever they did).

Maybe the drop rate is exactly the same as it used to be.

I got 7 shards in about 1.5 hrs by farming the beginning of scale 52 over and over again. With an lfg of “52, shard farm”, I created a pug group specifically for farming these buggers. We all had plenty of drops.

It is quite sad, though, that I had to create a farm to get them…

I’ve had mostly runs with no drops, but have had a few where multiple would drop in one run. Also remember to take into account that 4 runs nowadays would equate to 1 ran preHoT, and even preHoT, I’d get maybe 1 every 3 full runs?
