I have heard some things that this is no longer available to make. Now I don’t know where this post should be so I put it in my home. Anyone know if this is still able to be made or not?

or did they finally upgrade it to useable vs cosmetic?

its still available, and useable vs cosmetic? its always been like that, you get ascended and infused backpiece for 2350 relics and 250 ectos or a glowing backpiece that you use to assert your superiority for 2850 relics and 500 ectos

Yeah I knew about the cosmetic only concept. I wish they would actually have something added to it. But then again I guess in some ways its somewhat of a gear check. you have to be pretty dedicated to fractals and the idea for all of the work to get one of those.

of course I could be wrong as I have run with a PuG or 2 that have had one, and don’t know what Wall of reflection is, or stability. ….. shudder

I tried making it. The beta fractal capacitor does not show up in the mystic forge window it has yet to be acnkowledged by ANET as a bug or intended change. I seriously hope for their sakes it is a bug because all though it is only a cosmetic change all end game content in this game is cosmetic.

I heard they haven’t upgraded the MF recipe yet with the new item codes, since infused backs and rings have changed into different items post patch.

just confirmed the recipe is working right now upgraded from exotic all the way to shiny a few minutes ago
edit: in case it matters i upgraded to offensive infusion slot not defensive cant confirm if defensive is working

Did you ever equip it? If not that is why its working. The people that have equipped it can’t forge it. This is not normal for Fractal backpieces.

edit: nvm forgot it becomes account bound when u tranfer it to another char
