Shorter fractals?
This is why I’d love to have the ability to do individual fractals instead of a full 4 map run. Allows you to chop it up. Be nice for casual gaming, casual doesn’t have to mean easy, it just means less investment.
On the contrary they feel too short to me.
But then again when I get my terrible end reward I realise that them being any longer would make doing fractals even less worthwhile than it already is.
I think they’re too short too (at least individually they are). It’s a big part of why I rarely do fractals. The ones I like most are the ones other people tend to not like – thaumanova, uncategorized, cliffside. I don’t like the one everyone else seems to like most, swamp – it’s far too short, and overdone by most groups. I agree that the reward is relatively bad, but I don’t run dungeons / fractals for the reward.
See that’s also why I’d like an individual selection… with individual rewards such that you’re rewarded for doing a lvl 50 everything each day So a fractal tour would consist of knocking them all out, but you could take breaks between them. Longer and shorter at the same time! what fun!
But now I’m talking about fractal rewards and we all know where that gets us.
PS, Rain, I love those 3 also, used to hate Thaumanova before I understood it (always felt lost getting carried by people who didn’t give me time to really learn it, so it took me a while) Really the only fractal I dislike is Snowblind. Uncategorized is probably my favorite, just love the 4 champ room.
Remove cliffside from tier 2 and move thaumanova from tier 3 to tier 2. And for the love of god, do something with molten timegate. Remove drill part or speed it up by 500%. 90% of that fractal is just waiting.
I don’t think anything in molten facility needs drastic changing other than the kittening tunnel where you get perma cced and stuck in combat for 9 years. The worst part about it is you can’t blast might while waiting for the drill because apparently having hitboxes all over the place is good design.
Speaking of random hitboxes, loldredgefractal. Every single time a dredge dies their hitbox lasts where they died for about 10 seconds.
I do think that the waiting time in molten facility is sort of kittened. The drill should be at least 150% of its current speed. Also jade maw is just boring as hell. I prefer it on level 50 just because the adds are pretty strong, but even then you end up waiting for the jade kittens to spawn before you can actually progress. The time they take to spawn should be changed maybe so one will spawn the second you kill the current one

Kill a dredge mob in the fractal. Then try to blast stealth in the same spot after the dredge dies. You will be revealed.
