Or should I get a perma bank contract and fill a bank tab full of ascended weapons tailored for every dungeon? First world Tyria Problems here.
My thinking is if they introduce legendary armors, I will be screwed. Since thieves have very limited weapon choices, it will be easier to manage these weapons in a bank tab. And of course weapon sets are still gonna be annoying to manage.
Sadly I can’t afford both.

Meh if you’re after the new legendaries just hope that you have your gift of fortune and mastery done already because everything will skyrocket on that day. My in-game wallet isn’t ready for that day

You should 100% get infusions for your main including omni infusions for your armor. Gold exists to properly gear yourself once you have the look you want.

I bought 1250 t6 claws last week for my new ascended strength set. Worth.

Last I calculated it, 14 +5 power infusions will cost you around 2300 gold and 140 skill points. All that for +70 power.

I like min-maxing same as the next guy, but this is really diminishing returns on your investment…

If you do a lot of soloing, it is worth the investment in my opinion. Quicker kills are always worth it, especially if it’s for records.

This is the price for 14 versatile power infusion. You need 8 versatile and 6 regular. Regular are about 80 gold each compared to the 150 gold for versatile.

Still a huge investment, however this game has very limited things to aim for. Most hardcore players have above 10 Legendaries so we buy whatever can improve our damage.

With my calculations +70 power gave me +2% more dps (and 2.8% in non-buffed scenarios). Not sure if it’s worth dropping legendary amount of gold for that much increase…

It’s only 1550 gold. And yes, it’s worth it if you have a solid main. If I was the type who played 4 different classes equally as much, I wouldn’t bother but since I am on my warrior 99% of the time it’s completely worth it.

Hm let’s see where I can benefit with weapons:

AC: ghost/night vs night/force – 5%
CM:outlaw/force vs frailty/force – 5%
TA: Nightmare/night vs night/force -5%
SE: 5% yet again but this one super annoying to swap
CoF: Flame/Night vs force/night -5%
CoE: this one is also super annoying to manage with undead/inquest
HOTW: svanir/force vs frail/force 5%
arah – 0% since i already have undead

Seems like bank tab strat is better dps booster but annoying as hell to manage

It’s only 1550 gold. And yes, it’s worth it if you have a solid main. If I was the type who played 4 different classes equally as much, I wouldn’t bother but since I am on my warrior 99% of the time it’s completely worth it.

4 ascended armour sets. 21 weapons. And that doesnt even cover everything for all 4 of those classes. Dragonite grind too much. Pretty much given up. Waiting for necro meta so I can go full time necro and come back to the game actively.

Also yeah, outfitting multiple alts is a pain… I have 12, working on my 13th. Even if I “only” gave one of each class full ascended I’d be busy until gw3 is out.

Well my plan was to gear all classes except medium armour classes. But i may end up gearing engi because it should be quite fun in fractals. My mesmer is still in exotics and just borrows my eles set if i do frac 50. I do want to get a sin set for her though. My guard only has daylight weapons with sin armour. Warrior has multiple and necro has arah + daylight.

Fully gearing 5 classes is painful enough so I completely gave up on the full lot.
