Should i give up on my fractal necro?
Unfortunately none of your trinkets other than the backpiece can be transmuted, so you’re kind of SoL on that. But honestly, if you want to start running fractals on your warrior you might as well just get new trinkets for it entirely. 15 AR shouldn’t take very long to get, especially if you have laurels and/or badges to spare.
i have zerker thief with 15-17k HP (depending on weapon set) and get 1 shot by everything basically yet i run lv 48 fractals every day w/o big problems (funny fact i am usually the one rezzing everyone else and the last person to die); just pay attention, dodge in time, have team utility up etc.
you honestly just need to make sure your group has at least 1 guardian, rest doesn’t matter really
and as said before, you can’t transmute trinkets

lol 15-17k hp as zerker thief
wat30 acrobatics and practiced tolerance at least?
yes and no, running mixed d/p pvp build (10/30/20/10, yes with practiced tolerance), just switching weapons and traits depending on boss… i do have acessories giving me vitality and my bow gives me vitatlity as well (was ascended drop) + food of course
examples:
mossman, running p/p with smoke screen
bloomhunger: d/d with signet of agility and shadow step
harpies: d/p for blinds and smoke screen
w/e the name of the robot in poison room is: p/p with thief guild and ambush trap so pets body block poison
fire shaman last boss: p/p smoke screen dagge storm and sb for worms
cliffside: d/p for aoe blinds
dredge: d/d, sb with shadowstep
etc.
the thing is amount of HP on thief in fractals doesn’t matter, you get 1 shot anyway so it is all about dodging in time and using right CDs; this is comming from personal exp, i tried to make tanky thief as test, it doesn’t work lol it is either dodge or die

then you’re not a zerker thief.
People really like the word one shot. No matter how high you go, even elementalist built without survivability will face more non one shot attacks than oneshots (might be close to 50-50 i think, hard to say). The fact many mobs have attacks that can oneshot you doesn’t mean they use solely those.
then you’re not a zerker thief.
call it what you want (for me it is zerker since all armor is zerker + back rings etc. and almost no points in trees that give vit/toughness), no matter what i run necro still has better survivability simply because their base HP is still higher than thief HP with all armor on
my point wasn’t even about thieves or necros, my point was that the higher you get in fractals the less tankiness really matters as long as you have utility classes (aka guardians with walls, refrecls yada yada) on your group
most stuff will one shot (or rather spam shot you, since some people start to kitten about definition) if you don’t avoid it in some ways, regardless what class you play
if OP enjoys playing necro, then there is no reason for him to stop playing it; necros were doing fine in the fractal runs i have done before

honestly I think Necros survive better than Warriors. Warriors really shine when theres more than one Warrior, or a guardian
Necro is really durable in fractals. But there are some fights where the extra evades and blocks from a warrior make it much easier to survive than with a necro.
I was going to say, “when they open up 50+ fractals you’ll see necros come into vogue.”
But then…
yeah.
