Simi, Arah 4, what are we doing wrong?
A few tips would be when the guy up top brings his sparks in (since that guy will usually have hes/hers in first) bring them along the side instead of along the top. Makes it a lot easier for the guy on the bottom to get theirs in fast.
On the 1st 50% don’t use any cds or initiative that you aren’t 100% certain will be up and ready for when she goes invisible. You want EVERYTHING off cd so you can burst as hard as possible in those first 2s cause you never know just how much time you have. You might have the best spark run ever or it could be junk. All you know is you need to kill her fast.
Only 2 people pull sparks, the other 3 just stay out of the way, stand where simin will un-stealth, and be ready to unload.
Don’t use any ranged weapons. The only class allowed to use a ranged weapon here is thief and that’s only b/c they use all their initiative on the boss with their daggers/they use the bow to blink to the sparks faster. If a ranger is using a bow then they don’t deserve dungeon tokens.
If you have a ranger, make sure they aren’t using tank style pets.
If you have someone that’s condition, get him/her on the tears. Sadly, they can’t do much else.
You don’t need any defensive anythings here. Thieves don’t need shadow refuge (unless they’re using it for the free backstab+initiative recovery), guardians don’t need retreat, rangers don’t need search and rescue, etc.
Since you’re warrior, put your banners down when she goes stealth. Don’t waste them cast times when you don’t need to. Same deal with guardian using might stacks on staff. Ele can precast churning earth and meteor shower, thieves can whip out their thieve guild, etc. etc.

After all these months people still haven’t learned that Simin goes “poof” every 60 seconds from the last “poof”. Some times it’s better to be slow with sparks so instead of having 10 seconds to damage her, you have 60 seconds.
Timing is the key.
Reset the fight, she sometimes gets bugged.
I’ve ran this path so many times for our guild members to get their title and I rarely see this issue (which doesn’t mean that there is no bug). I always spent time here to explain how this path fails so people be serious at it.
I think the Simin cycle (spark run plus visibility) is much shorter than 60s, probably around 45s. I assigned 2 spark runners, 1 player (A) watch the others (especially the spark runners) being petrified and another player (B) to watch (A). We always have 1 war in the group and the warrior does nothing but damage (FGJ, Frenzy, Banner of Disp)
The critical moment is when her health got down to 50% and depending on group DPS makeup, she could rock back & forth there for a while as in Simin health = Simin health + (health regen x time avai) – group dps. If your group starts making mistake here, it won’t be a very pleasant experience.
PS: We just did one yesterday w 1 war, 2 guards, 1 mesmer & 1 necro, and only me w/ experience in p4. If you have mesmer, tell them to do time warp at 50%. The faster her health is away from that 50%, the better.

Sounds like what happens to me. She has a tendancy to bug. Before you rage out, wait 10+ minutes and she’ll sort her s*** out.

This is an awful, known bug and has been for a while. I suspect if the dungeon team hadn’t been working on testing the Flame and Frost dungeon, this would have received a fix by now. Hopefully Robert will have some good news for folks who have hit this bug in the near future.

Resetting her doesn’t always fix the bug. I know I’ve been on teams that trounced Lupi and then couldn’t DPS check Simin with her 10 second non-stealth window, even after multiple resets.
It’s the Living Story team designed the F&F dungeon. The dungeon team is still on their coffee break at the water cooler.
