Simin, Arah Path 4 Easy guide
The timer for phase two is one minute it seems.
I’m starting to wonder if this is doable with a different party set. I assume your 2 mesmers casted double time warp to greatly boost DPS output? Ran this today with a party of 2 Warriors, 1 Guardian, 1 Ele and 1 Ranger and we did that strategy, but it wasn’t enough to kill her before she disappeared again (I think we got her down to 30% HP)

If you all specced into glass cannon it’s more than possible. Also actually learning your highest DPS weapons/sets/utilities/etc. While I agree the AI. for the sparks are wonky, this does not need a nerf. GW2 need more bosses like this; something that requires team co-ordination and some type of knowledge of your class.
80Rng – 80Wa – 80Thief – 80Grd – 80Ele – 80Engi – 80Necro
GW2 needs more Lupicus, this crap boss (Simin) is the worst programmed ingame. Kitten mechanics… You only need glass cannon equipment, the right classes to do it and luck.
I would like to see the devs team to try it with a team of Rangers/Eles/Engineers… and then come to tell us how eaaaaaasy and fun it is.

Did it with a thief (not in berserker armor), a mesmer, 2 warriors, one elementalist.
Simin is bad because it’s fight that can last forever : the boss doesn’t do too much damage and but will systematically heal at an exact percentage unless your team manages to perfectly get sparks where you want. The difficulty of this doesn’t lie in team coordination or dps, it lies in getting those sparks where you want without wasting time. You could have a team with unimaginably good DPS and still be stuck forever at this because you can’t get 5 sparks to correctly follow you.
Or you use the 4-1 tactic and hope that you have enough DPS for the second part.
Timewarp bots are not needed for Simin.

What’s fun with lupi? In phase 1 you stack and nuke grubs and swarms, in phase 2 and 3 you run around like chickens dodging occasionaly. Simin isn’t for everyone ;P

As I wrote you in a previous post about Simin come in my team (or let me join your team) so I can see with my eyes how pro you are at Simin. As you keep to boast, show your skills instead ok keeping writing how cool you are while running with PUGs. I’m really curious.
Or just try it with 2 Ranger/3 Eles (or Engineers)… And give me a video of the team killing Simin.
This path is not for everyone, it’s only for certain team with certain classes.
Only this boss is so kitten in this game as I’ve run ALL the paths of ALL the other dungeons (even path 1-2-3 Arah) with every combo of classes and equipment without any problem.

Yeah Lupius is good. Transparent mechanics yet unforgiving. Once you know what to look for it’s fairly easy to perform. Keeps you on your toes for most of the fight. Also, 3 phases.
Simin is bad because the Bossfight itself is extremely boring and doesn’t have many real mechanics or much of a learning curve. Instead you’re fighting the frikkle sparks mechanics more than the boss.
Fighting Bosses = Good
Fighting mechanics = Bad

Trasparent mechanics? Are we talking about the same boss? Lupi desperatly needs buff, a whole bunch of them.

I could carry your team, I carried random pugs already. The thing is, most people do it for achievement to get nice, shiny, yet worthless title. I don’t really feel like I should devaluate that title even more. Call it elitisim or whatever you want.
Secondly, I have neither ranger nor engineer and elementalist seems like one of the best proffesion to runs sparks. If you want to follow this guide here you will fail. Try running them for a change, anet will improve their behaviour in the nearest patch. On the other hand they won’t decrease her regen rate (at least until more and more “experienced” runners will complain)
