Does anyone know if you put a simple infusion on a piece of gear, if you can infuse it again with a statted version of the infusion?

I don’t have a definite answer for you, but I’d always assumed you could. However a guy in my PuG today said you can’t re-infuse an item. I was very surprised by that, but then anything’s possible these days.

I’m sure someone will come along and give us a more definite answer than what a random guy in FotM told me soon enough.
