The green poisoned floor now removes stealth effects. Sloth is also now immune to conditions while sleeping and can only be targeted by cc effects.

I mean perma-stealth is (and has been) bad for every game it’s existed in. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s gutted or trapper runes are removed entirely during a future rune/sigil update.
So does green floor not hurt you if your stealthed?
Oh noo!!! People are upset that someone has better in game knowledge and skill to Solo a Raid Boss in over 2hrs. Props to the Player. At least he didn’t use an actual exploit like the Ranger that solo’ed Gorseval, where he spawned thousands of Sylvan hounds.
@thrag the Green floor hurts him your can see the health ticking down, but Thief has a trait in a highly underwhelming traitline that heals while in Stealth which slows the damage taken so his heals mean something.
Actually the floor doesn’t hurt him, the way you know this is her be dead after a few seconds on the green floor as it hits way harder than any thief health regeneration. He takes damage from the volatile poison that he drops over the course of the fight.
Even defending ghost thief here, lol it’s very clear this isn’t intended but sure keep pretending permanent stealth isn’t stupid broken.
@BlaqueFyre: The mushrooms are supposed to repeatedly apply poison to him. That’s a bug.
But as for stealth, the raid’s team shouldn’t have to fix something like this, it’s supposed to be the responsibility of the (in)balance team. This happened a few years ago when a group of perma-stealthed thieves killed the old boss of Twilight Arbor Forward/Up using nothing but traps and caltrops. In response, ANet added a damage component on trap arming to break stealth. Of course, since the right hand never talks to the left hand, someone else decided to removed it making this possible again. Honestly, I’m surprised it took someone this long to execute this.
Just tested it, green floor doesn’t hit you in stealth. If you watch his combat log, you can see only volatile aura (passive pulsing damage from slothasor) and volatile poision do damage to him. He never takes damage from toxic cloud (green floor) as long as he is in stealth.
Not taking damage from an aoe just because your in stealth seems like a bug to me.

wvw aside (yeah ghost thief is dumb but for some reason anet decided to buff it lel), i highly doubt anyone (beside people like OP) would actually bother with this build or try to solo boss for this matter, simply due to time needed for it

Yeah let’s face it to solo the boss like this would take forever however you can get a team of 10 and completely bypass every single mechanic of this fight. You also wouldn’t take 2 hours, probably closer to about 15 minutes.
You might even be able to get slippery slubling this way which would truly trivialise it.
I wonder which other bosses can be cheesed with stealth camping.
