Soloing Dungeons
Almost every exploration path are perfectly doable with a bit of training. Tho, you might need the help of a few friends for some events (CoF p1 if you don’t skip, Tar in Arah p1, and a few other examples).
While it is currently possible to solo many paths, I’m guessing what you’re asking is if Arenanet will add a solo mode that is scaled for solo play. To this I’m guessing no. They have said that they prefer making new content over revisiting the old, and overall this is a good move in terms of where they put their developer resources. Also, having solo modes encourages people to play by themselves, which is contrary to the mmo model. Depending on how they do the rewards, it could have bad ramifications for the game.
If you’re having trouble finding a group, the lfg tool is usually pretty good. If there aren’t any groups for the particular path you want already posted, making your own post will usually work. I’ve had to wait up to 10 minutes for some less popular paths like HotW p2, but usually not more than that.
Good luck

Well Fluffy, it would be nice to be able to solo them in Explore mode. Some of us, who cant seem to ever get into a group would like to get some of that Dungeon armor. Unless Anet gives us a alternate way to get Dungeon currency, there’s no other way.
I know others have soloed them but everytime I try I get megaswarmed.

Few things.
1 – Its possible to get that currency through a number of ways. Repeatable PvP and WvW reward tracks for the dungeons give out dungeon tokens, that achievement chest for doing 8 different dungeon paths, actually getting a party and doing the dungeons.
2 – If you get megaswarmed then go slower, or speed up and skip large parts of the dungeon. Seriously elites are not easy enemies, they can be soloed but by and large they are damage sponges so it takes a while for most classes. To learn when to skip watch youtube videos of the dungeon paths.
3 – Even if you die the enemies don’t respawn. If you have to go through killing 1 elite at a time you will still, eventually, get through the dungeon if you insist on doing it alone.

As it was advised to you, open an own offer at the LFG since you don’t have to wait longer than 10 minutes to fill up. At the moment there is no reason you cannot make it into a group. Dungeon people have no requirements these days because dungeons are easy like they never have been before.
A guild is also helping here, you should ask in yours. Usually there is always at least one guild member helping out. With 2 peeps in the lfg it’s even more easier to get the rest of the players into the group.
You can also start the path with a friend since the first parts of a dungeon are no problem to duo even without high skill. Just give it a try, it doesn’t hurt.

Thanks folks, I forgot about the PvP reward tracks though I hate PvP with the overpowered Thieves killing me in seconds. (even while playing my Bunker Guardian) I just returned to GW2 about 2 months ago after being gone for almost a year and I’m not in a guild anymore.
Do the PVP daily rooms. It’s reasonably fast, especially compared to soloing explorable dungeons.
No actual PVP-ing required there. Just tag and jump to your death.
Just use LFG. Usually fills up within a couple of minutes. Soloing has no advantage reward wise. So it’s of no real use aside from a feel of accomplishment.
