Some people in dungeons.
The norm is to run through everything. State in the LFG description that you’re going to watch all cutscenes and/or kill everything.
a minor fix in your advertisement could help with that. Although it’s not the perfect answer, you could try to put “NO rush” or “only newbies”

If it takes you STATIC 20 seconds to run to a location, you can not be any faster, and I run it in 10 seconds, how are you being “forced” to catch up? You’ll get there when you get there, and no one is forcing you to do anything, but in the manner which you apply your logic, you are actively trying to force (or at least desire that) these people slow down for you.
Why?
Why is one perfectly acceptable but not the other?
Do you dislike being discriminated against? You mention trash; do you perhaps have an issue running past mobs? Do you need to be carried? Or did you expect everyone to know what you wanted without specifying?
I could keep going but I know you’re going to defend yourself valiantly and never see the err.
Is there a point to this thread? It eludes me.

The OP goes to a dungeon to have fun. Running past enemies, not killing them, skipping cinematics and more other known habits of rush runners removes the fun.
The point is pretty clear, he (and me also) just want to go to a dungeon to have fun, not to get rewards, hence clearing the dungeon fast is a way to reduce the fun he expects from it.
So… he’s just asking for people to not do rush runs when he start groups for All levels, and asking to rush runners to adapt to the groups that they join. If they want a rush run, then join a rush run, but for an “all levels” run, it can be understandable that you’ll get newbies and going fast is a bad idea.

I suggest putting in something like, “playing for the story”, or “casual run”, and tell them at the start you going to take things a little slower (people tend to ignore the lfg description). It helps if you can run with one other person you know so they can back up kicks if need be.
These are all very good suggestions and I’ll implement them into the descriptions for future runs. It’s not that I want them to adjust to me in any way but there are professions that have speed boosting abilities and they like to run off and attract enemies that the rest of us have to catch up and be rushed into helping them. Example is the random cave troll that pops out, yes one guy ran off and spawned the cave troll while the rest of us had to catch up to him and due to being rushed to save him we wiped.
I will be putting in "casual run for all levels as the story behind the dungeons is actually pretty good and I like the fact that there are new people that want to join and level their characters which is why I do the “all levels” description, again I thank all of your comments and will work more in the descriptions so the misscommunication will be brought down.
Yeah, I rush through stories, but killing everything on my way, so no skip at all (it’s still fast to kill anything in story). The others are usually one step behind but they catch up fast and fight correctly. I don’t ask them to skip videos, I don’t rush where they could not pass alone. I think of this as being a facilitator and I get a lot of thanks and comments about how hard it was before and how easy this run felt.
I recently joined a random team that was doing Arah in story mode (basically the final fight with Zhaitan), and I added a bit of roleplaying into the mix. At first the group did not know quite how to respond to it, but they got into it really quickly, and soon they were having a blast with it. We were dishing out orders on board the airships, and throwing one-liners at the dragons. It was so much fun.

I’d totally play this story modes with all cutscenes, killing all enemies and totally accepting that I have 0 experience in dungeons and no desire to be super competitive.
I had the idea that such players didn’t exist, but it seems I’m wrong.

I think most people are like that early on. The first time I did each dungeon, I watched all cut scenes. I also wasn’t a fan of trash skipping, mostly because I didn’t realize how easy it is to stay alive once you know what to expect. After you’ve played all dungeons numerous times, it becomes more about efficiency.
Early on, exploring and surviving the dungeon was fun. Now I find being as fast and efficient as possible to be fun. Neither is wrong, just different outlooks. Being as transparent as possible in the lfg will help players group with like minded people.
i generaly run with 1 to 3 friend on skype when a guy tries to overun we just watch him eat a bricks wall and laugh. Its realy funny to see those fools rushing on their own when clearly no one has the intention of fellowing so we clean mobs behind and let him vent his steam in the front and wait, if he start QQing about how slow we are because we dont fellow him we kick (thats only valid when we casual it out of course because we also run from time to time)

If pet had voices: Mommy, I did it! :3
I think one of the most dangerous rushing is before the final boss in Arah p3 when the cutscene always hits you at the worst part: Spider and Illusionists. Occasionally, cutscene at oozes in p1 too.
