As the title says, and as some people my know, SE got tinkered with. I’m trying to teach my friends and guildies path 1. However, the three champion golems are stomping us hard. In the open, we go down in less than 30 seconds. If we stack it, we can’t get one down before we all die painful deaths.
Before this run however, I have never had an issue with newbies and lowbies in path 1. What was changed? Why isn’t it listed in any change logs or release notes? If it is listed, where was it put?
Hope someone can help!

I did it last night, and it wasn’t any different. Keep in mind that you need reflects if you’re going to (mostly) painlessly do the stack thing for those golems.

I think they may have changed one of the corners slightly but you wouldn’t notice unless you tried to stack there. Path 3 looks like it had bigger changes.

I was teaching path 1 and 3 last night to a drunken engineer who hasn’t played in a year; there were only 3 of us: the drunk engineer, an elementalist, and myself on a guardian. I didn’t notice any changes at all as it went fairly smoothly despite the engineer getting lost somehow between Nokk and the triple golems (how, I will never know). We were all in zerker gear and used conjures/reflects/condi clears when appropriate. I had to dress the engineer myself before the run because he was in terrible gear.

Maybe you lacked reflects for the triple golems? They can really hurt if you just let them go all willy-nilly.

One wall and one FGS should be enough. If you can’t FGS, then wall + shield of the avenger should be long enough for a zerk group to take them down.

The same as it has been (as of last night at reset). Chances are you were never the one leading the run or running a Guardian so you had no idea that reflects were needed.

There are actually a lot of folks who don’t really know the encounters but will just stand in the stack to burn bosses. Anyways, like others have said as well, WoR + Conjures = GG Golems. You can pull them to the middle of the room or to one of a few different corners. It’s your call. Good luck.

Did it last night with one WoR + ice bows + LH. FGS helps but it’s not even necessary for killing them before WoR runs out.
