Sorrows embrace path 1 impossible?
forget this path is even in GW2, simple. Since the update if i do SE (which i rarely do since FotM) its path 3 and path 3 only. Its easily done in 15, quick n boring.
Path 1 is shorter than path 3 assuming you have a good group.

If they really want us to do dungeons the way they are ‘designed’. Then why is this path impossible to do?
You seriously spawn and kill 3 enemies, then there are 15 groups of 3 elite (silver star) enemies that come at you almost simultaneously.. How are you supposed to defeat that?
I agree, so for all my attempts with 10 different parties, all fail! and Path 2 there’s been a few times the npc wouldn’t trigger the end mk1 or mk2 boss and after 2+ hours of killing. Now hardly anyone is doing path 1 or 2.
I just did this one yesterday with a pug, with a group that couldn’t kill the waves efficiently, and then we discovered something very simple.
Run across bridge, jump onto the ledge on the right
Wait for trash wave to run by then rush the golem
Ignore any waves that come and just burst down the golem
Waypoint back to the start
Return to ledge at the bridge when it’s safe
Rush barriers
Pull Asura boss to the gate behind him, kill him
The rest is simple.

Or you can do this, which is a glitch, will get fixed, and then you can go “well I dunno how to do this now”.

Yeah then I can’t solo, aww.
But anyways, I wish they would make all paths about same difficulty/length or tweak rewards.

Finally after a few more parties. I did path 1. 1/15.
- The grander trick does NOT work. I was being arrgo by him, I kept him busy and the waves of add just roll by. I think Anet fix him. By keeping the grander busy, it will delay the 2nd wave by like 3-5 mins. Each waves of adds roll by per 1 min.
- The small ledge in the middle is NOT a safe spot you will get arrgo by adds.
Braxxis.7062’s plan work perfect, thanks for the tip. The leap/skip the barriers doesn’t work.

Somehow magically I can still solo it using leaps to skip barriers. Of course it’s not that simple.
