Still no HoT-FoTM reveals?

Exactly, months ago. No word about the mastery track and today they said they’re pulling the leaderboards until later. Colin said that we can still start working on our legendary back piece so I guess that’s sort of like a confirmation…
I think on their FOTM advertisement page, the revamp will be in Nov.
Probably the same time as raid and new legendaries roll out.
They also didn’t mention two important things about new fractals in the blog.
1. How does AR system adapt to the new fractal setup
2. How will they fit in new fractals into the system in the future
Can we get confirmation from Colin about this? I’m assuming that because he said we could start working on the back piece that means tiers 50-100 are coming on day 1. But confirmation would be nice.
They are coming with launch. I can assure you of that. The only delayed portion is the leaderboards again.

Not really since they said they pulled the FoTM legendary because it’s not ready.
Assuming FoTM 51-100 isn’t time-gated behind some random bullkitten, I could grind it out in a day or two. I have all classes, all builds. A little condi dmg only mechanic or whatever isn’t going to even be a speed bump to me.
What would stop me is FoTM mastery being pulled because it’s also not ready. Since we’ve heard utterly nothing about it, it would be fair to assume it’s not going to drop at launch.

I am inbetween blocks in school right now. I will literally have the weekend to play and then I won’t be able to play for a month. I wanna enjoy the content as much as possible in those 2-3 days. That’s all.

they used new squad-ui for fractals aswell and now they noticed it didn’t work like it should, so release is moved first quarter 2016!

This will be in at launch. Literally the only thing not in at launch for Fractals is the leaderboard, and since some items for the legendary were tied to the leaderboard, that will be unavailable as well (you can still work the precursors first, and by the time you finish the precursors the other components will be out). Everything else will be present.
I actually would like more information on the following
- How selection actually functions (its ambiguous currently)
- How AR actually scales, if there were/are any changes
- Clarity on the New Achievements and Functionality

I’m not sure if I understood the new system right. Will it be like that for example?

That’s how I read it. Now my question is. What stops players from farming a certain level (e.g. “Level 12: Molten Boss Fractal” or “Level 15: Swampland”) over and over again and reaching level 15 really fast. The same could be applied to higher level fractals that are “easy and fast”.
Also as someone already asked: How will they add new fractals to this system?
Or is the system different and I have a wrong image of it?
That’s exactly how the system will work. Based on my understanding, you could farm “Level 15: Swampland” repeatedly to get to level 15, but there are a few things that encourage you to do otherwise.
- Achievements with rewards specifically tied to completing different Fractal levels.
- Fractal dailies tied to specific levels; not all are “choose your level” dailies.
- Instabilities on “Level 15: Swampland” are supposed to be balanced to be level 15 difficulty, which may mean it’s not as simple as you’re used to thinking swamp fractal is.
As for adding new fractals, they may do “seasons” and simply change the fractal order for each new season. There are a number of ways it could work, but we don’t know for sure.

Short of some very minor technical reveals early on, they haven’t revealed any new content details this week for anything. These blog posts are strictly recaps.

Expect there to be no more new fractals. It has been 2 years, at this point it has been abandoned.
