Story mode to unlock Explorable.

I think it’s fine like this and most story modes are done pretty fast, only coe and hotw take some time and even that’s not too much.
Story mode dungeons should reward the same as explorable, most of then take quite a long time to complete when compared to their explorable mode versions. TA, SE, HotW, CoE, CoF and arah story modes take pretty long time to complete.
But that would make it more difficult for a new player to get into dungeons, because of lfg adds like “lvl 80 experienced”, but the way that story modes are right now its difficult to get a full group too.

I’m all for making explorable unlock account-bound. Most people doing story mode more than once are doing it to unlock explorable on additional characters and just want to get it out of the way as quickly as possible. That means skipping cutscenes and rushing through content and ruining the experience for first-time storygoers anyway so why not make it account-bound.
Hmm… I think that Story Mode should still be done first, BUT I do agree that Story Mode rewards need a little buff to encourage more people to do it. Maybe you get the bonus daily chest for completing it also gives you a small amount of tokens? (Say, 10 – 20?)

That was my first thought on reading this topic, too. Even if it’s not a daily chest but just part of the “first time reward” (the one that gives an ugly piece of head armour for completing the story for the first time on that characters), a small number of tokens would be a nice starting point for a dungeon career.
Yea, you should just unlock it with explorable mode done once on your account. It sucks.
