I am having an issue where I am stuck in the T3 fractal bracket. The issue being this bracket is dead (hardly any groups going on). T1 has tons of groups prime time, T2 has a lot of groups going on, and from what I hear, T4 also has a bunch of groups in LFG.

When groups do form up for the dailies, nearly 100% of the time they are for the lower level T3 fractals. I try to create my own groups, last night I posted in LFG for the Swamp fractal (which was the daily) level 67 and waited alone until I was booted. If a group does get started and we happen to wipe once, have the group leaves.

A few weeks ago I also posted in the “Looking For…” section of these forums looking for a guild for fractals, which didn’t turn up anything.

I am running out of ideas here. Any suggestions on how to raise my personal fractal level when I cannot get groups?

I cannot see the T4 listings in LFG until my personal level is 70 (5 levels below the next teir according to the wiki). I have the AR to do the first few T4 fractals, just waiting on the mats to infuse my rings.

Hmm, didn’t know that.

You can get the groups for the dailies easily within the first few hours after reset. If you really want to progress out of a tier, just keep doing these until they’re past your prl. To get the final handful of levels, you can repeat the Mai Trin fractal on Sundays.

Yes, right after reset seems to be the best time to get a group, however, there are two levels of most fractals in T3 a higher one and a lower one. Swampland for example is 56 and 67.

If swampland is the daily people just want to do 56; and rightful so as it’s easier, faster and you get the same reward. This is the flaw in gating progression. So while I do get my dailies done my personal level is not moving up.

As someone who recently went through this, just keep chugging along best you can, when you can make your own group for the higher level, worked for me. Took a week or two though.

Just make some friends. Your tier problem is solved. And they can carry u through most t4s if needed xD

I agree with what was posted earlier as a solution.

On a day where Mai Trin is the daily, just post lfg’s and run that over and over until you can see the T4 LFG.

You wint have much trouble finding a group for T3 Mai and will level you up each run.

Yes, right after reset seems to be the best time to get a group, however, there are two levels of most fractals in T3 a higher one and a lower one. Swampland for example is 56 and 67.

If swampland is the daily people just want to do 56; and rightful so as it’s easier, faster and you get the same reward. This is the flaw in gating progression. So while I do get my dailies done my personal level is not moving up.

Put up a LFG for the higher tier one. The time difference isn’t that much.

Yeah I have had this problem. You basically have the two hours after reset to get anyone into T3 fractals in the 60+ range, and that’s only if you are lucky. And even when you do, there is a lot of wiping and leaving as people decide to go do the 50s instead.

You do know that you can craft infusions up to atleast 30 right? thats 140 just from 2 rings

Trick is to wait for Molten duo daily which is scale 70 and repeat until you see the tier 4 stuff. You have to be personal level of 71 to see the tier 4 lfgs, since tier 4 is 76-100.

@Boogiepop Void: I got an ascended armor chest from the Initiate’s chest just last week. It’s extremely rare but does happen.

@Linken: The cost of crafting Agony Infusions beyond +12 is incredibly expensive, it is more worthwhile/cost effective to spread AR over more ascended items than to condense it onto just trinkets.

This is a complete bald faced lie. It has been confirmed by the people who runs fractal drop rate research that t2 and t4 chest have the highest drop rates for armor. And most of the armor and weapon chest i have gotten this month have been t3 and t2 chest. And there is always the option to craft ascended, which is cheap assuming you actually play the game. If you think you can only get good drops from t4 chest to run t4, you have a rude awakening coming.

Gear is the small part of why T3 form are so annoying to do, most has to do with people not knowing the basics/mechanics.

It’s not luck, its called persistence. I also don’t just rely on fractals to drop me gear. If I want a piece of gear I work on crafting it. I also do most fractal dailies, and I run the average of 100 fractals every week to 2 weeks.

I’d say you have more luck than I. I did teq every day for 2 months, and only ever got spoon or runes from teq. I never got a mini, or asc chest from a WB. I guess we’ll call that even.
