Guild Wars 2

My party is stuck on Ascalonian Catacombs explorable route 2 at the traps part (Help Detha set a trap to kill the patriarch.) in flooded temple.

Is there any specific place we need to place him or any sort of trick to start the actual part where you protect him from the gravelings?

Done this twice before and haven’t had any trouble before.

5 people on the traps until the boss appears,then 2 people (preferabilly warrior or guardians) go on the boss.the other 3 players keep using traps while casting spells on the boss.The best method is for the 2 people to keep the boss on the traps so you can do damage to it like that.Here’s a vid of me and my guildies doing it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ofARwWR-j0&feature=g-u-u

I know how to do it but we got in there and the event didn’t trigger.

oh.just go to the traps with the npc,if the event doesn’t spawn just reset the instance,bugs like this sometimes occur

Not much.

If you know how to use the spikes properly, and a few CCs/good DPS, the mobs should be down in no time.

Well we didn’t figure a way to get it trigger so we gave up on it.
