This has probably been done before but whatever:

Second time I try this path, the first time, I almost soloed the boss accidentally, thought I might try it for good the second time.

This Boss is actually quite easy to solo. All you need is a sword mesmer with Blink on a 24 sec cooldown. The hardest part is finding guildies to get you there.

This could have been done much faster, I just realised way too late that the ice aoe only hit the small circle, the same way the rock ones only hit the outer circle. It makes things much easier. :s

I find path 1 is the easiest because you simple stack under him and your fine. long as you can corner him the fight is pretty simple on all paths.

I did it with ele and thief but I was totall bored after 10 minutes with my mesmer and his poor dmg output.

You can get there alone^^ with mesmer it’s actually easy because you can melee everything brain afk (except lasers)

Yeah, we were doing it for fun, just 3 friends, but when we got to the lasers we had to invite guildies. ^^’

I like mantra mesmers, especially against this boss. If you set up your stun, you can simply outlast the crystal by stunning him when he’s about to do his ice aoes (you can tell by the colour when he casts) leaving your blink up for the next crystal, or if you simply don’t have blink available . And even if you get hit while in a crystal, you can survive by cleansing the bleeds and burns and healing with the mantras, if you’re lucky to survive that is.
