I’ve had plenty of times in guild where people want to do guild FOTM 50 runs but there’s a lack of interest since others have already done their 50s for the day. This used to not be that much of a problem when the rewards were character bound since you could just go on a different character.

Assuming, you’re lvl 50 already, what if the rewards were tweaked so the first 41-50 you did, you got the FOTM 41-50 reward, then the next 41-50 you did, you got the 31-40 reward, then the next 31-50 you did, you got the 21-30 reward and so on.
Basically, if you did 5 FOTM 50s in a day, you would get the 50 chest on the first run, 40 chest on the second, 30 chest on the third, 20 chest on the fourth, and 10 chest on the fifth.

This will allow people if they want to to do 5 lvl 50s a day instead of the decreasing difficulty ones and more people can do 50s as a group while keeping the rewards that you can get each day to the same as it is now.

This probably is only an issue with dungeon/fractal guilds where there’s enough interest for multiple 50s. I could also see PUG 50s happening more often since people won’t be so neglectful of them if they already did their 50s for the day and could still get a reward for subsequent runs.

this is the best suggestion ive seen since the change to the mechanics for opening a fractal (from “highest common level of the party” to “highest level of 1 person in the party”)

Perhaps, from ANet’s PoV, this could be unfavorable because it’d cause bad, casual, and/or lower-progression players to get “left behind”, as the higher progression players are no longer “forced” to do lower levels for those rewards, leaving a much smaller pool of experienced players to carry help in the low level runs.

I personally like the proposal very much.

Content in this game will always seem
to be faceroll at the high levels, because it
needs to be accessible to the casuals and bads.
