I’m new to dungeoning, only started a few weeks ago and one thing I noticed is that it can be quite a hassle to find groups for dungeons that aren’t AC, CM or CoF.

If we had each weekend being a bonus weekend for a specific dungeon that might encourage more people to try it out, more people would learn how to do it and it would get played more.

What the bonus actually is is up for debate as long as it does serve as an incentive, personally I was thinking added dungeon tokens as that could be a draw for people wanting the armor/weapon achievements AND people earning their legendaries.

1. Define hassle
1.a. Enter dungeon
2. Press Y
3. Select LFG tool on left
4. Select Dungeons
5. Select “Advertise your party”
6. Insert appropriate lfg message.
7. Wait or dont. Solo it like a boss.
8. Group joins
9. ?
10. A big fat hen
Profit.

Well yea everyone hates HotW. Especially 2 and 3. HP sponges all of it.

I actually like the idea. IIRC they did that a while back where a particular dungeon was in the daily, and it seem to make everyone flock to those dungeons and I had some really fun, laid-back groups. I’d like to see more of that.

inb4 BUT THE KAZULS!!! that would just be a good day for folks who are picky about their groups to avoid that particular dungeon.

I’d love for them to maybe take that extra 5 silver they gave all dungeons a while back off and pool it into a “bonus” fund for a daily dungeon. Today is TA up, tomorrow is HoTW3, the next day CM3, etc. It could be a lot of fun to motivate people to mix it up a bit.

To the thread, good idea. Now for the bonus to be worth the pain of HotW…

All my friends are worse than me at the game. Much much worse. What does the red circle mean again worse/ PHIW and will join berserker groups in clerics worse/stopped playing months ago/ dont want to pug. I still love em <3 but you know.

I live for the pug. Bad and good. i just dont like the bad.

@Don See my inb4 (those things never work Q_Q). Just run a different dungeon on that day.

I think it’d be reasonable and lessen the complaints in here. Maybe a few of the flocking masses would try dungeons, enjoy them, and then get good and PUG with you down the road. That is, if you manage to stick around long enough without getting bored and leaving (good luck :-/)

So folks…how much gold would HotW p3 need to be to make it worth your while?

Considering I’d rather run all paths of Arah than set foot in HotW, I’ll open with 10g50s :-)

That might not be fair, “running all paths of Arah” is about the only thing with any appeal for me anymore :-/

Strange, when I pugged it with Brazil to get my frostfang tokens our groups filled like instantly.

And yes, we did the atrocious underwater paths.

That could be because one (or both) of you were recognised.

Because of that new achi, the reward could just be something ( something ) like 100 bonus tokens for doing the daily dungeon thingy.

It would be the dungeon tokens from that dungeon of course.
