Devs are working on this as we speak, ETA next fractal patch.

We have an anet source on that, or just speculation?

It’s a joke regarding the frequency of Fractals updates.
Nothing is off the table.
This is absolutely doable.
The fact that most of these items ever existed is just blatantly a bug.
An expansion worth of content.
The cake is a lie.
There is no spoon.
Iraq has mass destruction weapons.
Ok, Iraq didn’t have mass destruction weapons, but it had the capability to build them.

This is actually a good idea. Fractals not rewarding influence is not consistent with the other content that is offered in the game.

The meta is changing at an alarming rate!

Yep. Good. And two months from now the devs will make a huge patch note:
- Fractals
- Harmonised influence rewards blablabla equality blablabla caring about you
“Look guys we listen to you! What are you complaining about? zomg forums are not representative of population feedback blablabla insert-more-marketing-here”

So you don’t want them to add influence to fractals? Or you do, but you don’t want them to make patch notes? Which windmill are we tilting at?
Look, it is pretty simple. We can do two things.
Either we look at the contours: we ask Anet to polish this or tweak that. I am talking about superficial changes to peripheral matters. You can have so many of them, and they require not much thinking. So yeah for example we could harmonise the influence rewards, we could have a dungeon path completion tracker, we could have this or that. Some people are even foolish enough to ask for meaningless tweaks to mechanics like FGS and IB. All this is good, but completely auxiliary.
Or we can ask for meaningful changes. Changes that make sense. Changes at the core. Yes they require more work and we could wait more for them to be implemented, but it would be worth it. I am talking about things like making mobs move and attack at the same time, which would benefit the entire game in so many ways, not just us: it would successfully shift the meta forward but also link the PvE framework to that of PvP, which is something Anet desires – for good reasons.
Our Chriswhitesidemas list can either look like this:
-superficial item number 1
-superficial item number 2
-superficial item number 3
-meaningful change
-superficial item number 4
or this:
-meaningful change
In the first case Santanet just picks superficial items number 2&4 and then proceeds to tell us that yes they care about us, they do what we ask for, they are such a good studio.
In the second case we get what we really want.
They have very few elves to work on our presents, and they can’t do everything. Let’s make it simple for them. Let’s give them the one thing we actually care about instead of telling them we would also like a myriad of other things we don’t care about that much. In one word: priorities.

I think we would all prefer a major fractal update that opened up new tiers and “fixed” rewards and added new shards etc, but if that sort of thing is out of the question (for now) I wouldn’t turn my nose up at even a superficial polish update.
What’s a fractal?
What’s a fractal?
a series of 3 out of i think 15 small maps you do with a boss fractal as 4th
you enter them in Lions arch a lone asura gate close to the east side bank if i remember correctly been awhile.
That bait lol
