Hello!

I’ve been dabbling in the special forces training lobby with my guildies preppping for our first raid takedowns. Now we’ve tested most of the various varieties that is available to us, but there are certain situations that can’t really be simulated and this brought certain ideas on the table.

1. Golem that can actually attack, one good thing about a golem that strikes back is there would be a proper test of the healers in the training lobby. To prevent death there could be a, “if player is downed” revive, or simply let the golem swap target if a killing blow should’ve occured. in the yellow text recap the summary could then include x killing blows would’ve happened.

2. phase training. use the regular training golem, but once it hits 50% it swaps to a new phase where the room gets swarmed by minions (golem goes invulnerable) and/or circles you have to stack on for the golem to not get healed (instead of wiping the raid in a training session), then repeating this every 10% of the golems health until it’s dead.

3. Stalker golem, basically a golem that instead of moving in a fixed pattern, fixates on random members for a period of 5-15 seconds and knocks/stuns/disables in aoe and on target it fixates on. this also with damage or /aoe condi damage would be fun.

Reason why we’re thinking about new aspects here is that realisticly a stationary target does not provide a realistic damage check or raid survivability with no movement, and the one moving in a pattern not causing any issues for the raid participants is only a slight challenge on that end.

In addition, it would be fun to also introduce maybe a breakbar challenge & a timed takedown with alot of aoe on the ground with circles that stun/disable the raid members if they linger for too long inside them, preventing them from completing the timed takedown.

if anyone else have any fun ideas throw them in!
