So let’s see.
Warriors Empower Allies got moved to tier 2. Well, we’ll loose that buff, no huge impact at all.

Guardians Monk Focus gives 4 seonds of fury when using a meditation. No impact at all, even a flat 2% damage boost would be better than this, not to mention the 10-20% damage you’d lose if chosing the trait.

Arah Path 2 Lupicus fix: apparently they added some invisible wall. Worked! Sellers now taking 80g for showing how it works. Underwaterway still works, nothing else changed.

Closest Target function: broken, targets now champs over normal mobs.

Servers: Can’t tell. 5-10 second delay server crashs weren’t uncommon. They’re probably happening a bit more often. About 80% of my playtime is being caught in a lag now. (Side Note: my 15€/month server located in Frankfurt just as gw2 servers giving me a 5-15ms ping, gw2 with ~290 average, 2100 currently makes the race again. Can’t i just run gw2 on my own servers?).

Its patchday so you will be lagging more than usual today anyway. I was lagging heavily in the clocktower.

I spent 10 minutes on it, finding two new ways and realizing my old one still works.
I didn’t skip him for some month, but this just had to be…

The quick AC Path 1 Spider skip is fixed. The old only (30 seconds slower) still works.

Does the jump puzzle still work? (no time to go in and check)

Did they fix the boat in arah p2 ???

Only other meaningful change is probably Desperate Power, now under 25% hp instead of 50.

But only mad mans ran it anyway.

The arah one? Still works.

Well, let’s see, big changes worth noting:

Elementalist:
- Meteor Shower hits are twice as big now, which means it gets more hits. Before I was recording about 6 hits average on LA dummy per Shower, now it seems to be up to around 8. That’s a pretty giant DPS boost, it ends up being an increase of about 7-8% which is pretty good considering how strong staff is already.
- Lava Axe is now a spammable blast finisher. Doing Lava Font > Explosive Lava Axe > Ring of Fire > Explosive Lava Axe > Burning Retreat > Explosive Lava Axe is an easy 9 stacks of might. The damage on the axe itself isn’t terrible either.
- Earth Shield got a pretty hefty buff but it still sorta sucks, DPS-wise.

Engineer:
- Elixir B stabilizes now, which helps it replace SYG a bit.
- Rifle Turret now stacks vuln which is a nice extra if you don’t need might but extra vuln would be helpful.

Guardian:
- Effective DPS boost now that Smite Condition doesn’t need to be traited to be instant.
- Purging Flames is a decent condition removal now. Boon duration boost on Hallowed Ground might be cute when used as a fire field for pre-fight might stacks.

Mesmer:
- Mantras are basically stronger, shorter-ranged versions of Guardian shouts now. Mantra of Resolve removes 4 conditions AOE and Mantra of Stability gives 4s stability total. Traited, it’s 6 conditions and 6s stability.
- Duelists finally got fixed. Swordsman is probably objectively better now.

Necromancer: Who cares

Ranger:
- Slight buff to Maul. Doesn’t really affect overall DPS output on GS but the extra vuln is nice.
- Buff to Jungle Stalker. Might stacking is much stronger now.

Warrior: Rip warriors

I had hoped you would have noticed the most important change GK: lava font ticks 2 times more with PF now instead of one, so staff’s dps is increased
Meter shower is not twice as big, radius is 90→120 like I said on the elem forum

I don’t know much about PvE ele and can never be bothered to look at the numbers you guys run for everyone, does this mean staff is definitely better than LH now?

Any chance that chaos storm trick works on lupi? Will I see a sub 10s lupi video using this ability? ofc its a bug and will get patched. Would be funny to watch though.

Where are you gonna jump from? Lupi doesn’t go hostile till you actually enter his arena and I think they fixed the exploit to get up on the walls behind him. And you’d probably need multiple mesmers to actually drop him since he has a load of health, even a 200k Chaos Storm wouldn’t be enough.

Yes, by a pretty wide margin. Before I guess it was sort of up in the air (Zelyhn claiming LH was more, me claiming staff was more) but now I’d say it’s pretty obvious which one comes out on top.

The chaos storm can do like 700k+. If you caught lupicus in an animation, he would die easily.

there was a bug that made mesmers do stupid amount of damage when they use chaos storm from the fall damage trait
