Event’s make this game loved. Dungeons, not so much.
Do the demographics, do some exit interviews of the people Who are Not 80 and are perhaps not platinum dungeon masters. In other words find out what 95% of the people who currently play your game think of your dungeons. Not the 5% who are vocally in favor of it and just happen to be level 80 guardians and warriors.
Since the recent patch I see a surge in numbers of people following the events as they tick off in Queensland and in Wayfarer foothills. I have joined groups and kept track of some of the numbers. Most are above the level you expect for those areas 1-15, at the Maw for example last night, most were 20-80 and there were 80 players there in overflow.
I used to constantly see posts of people looking to group for dungeons, my guild and others. Not so much now.
Also, telling your team to die so you can finally get the no-combat clear to Res, Just sucks. I lay on the floor with my 59 mesmer for 5 minutes while my team finally killed a mob by kiting and sniping.
Is this intended? I took the time off went and had a coke, grab some pretzels and went to the john. Is that a feature? It is not conducive to play, it is a time wasting process and it will encourage people to not use dungeons. Couple that with the dreadful loot, the costs of repair just makes dungeon play a thing to miss.
