Heard a rumour that T3 cultural gear was going to be made into Ascended gear once Ascended armor is released. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Also – if it is confirmed, if the T3 cultural gear has been transmuted onto other gear (because I wanted the skin with a different set of stats), will THAT gear get ascended properties?

Ascended items require specific skills to get it, while cultural gear just grinding the money</sarcasm>

doubt they will do that, cultural equipment are for pure aesthetic value.
If they ever change it, it would be an exotic set, but even that is highly doubtful.

lv80 with skills fully unlocked, warrior, elementalist and engineer
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
