That was an exploit, so Anet silently removed it. They don’t like to inform people about these kind of stuff.

With both the run and the JP you run the risk of being in a party with one guy who just can’t do it. At least now that people know that there’s a safe spot by the old JP flower people wiping in the first half is much more rare.
As exploits go it was still a bit of fun, certainly less annoying than the other jumping puzzles that have been integrated into dungeons deliberately.

A safe spot behind those dangerous puppies that could be cleared very quickly and easily if anyone gave it a second thought.

Naturally, things like Alpha’s buggy crystals or Ginva’s ridiculous hitbox go ignored by them, but being able to avoid all the elite trash that no one fights anyway for the latter half of a path is apparently too convenient. Sigh…

exploit? what exploit? it was a jumping puzzle! putting invisible wall is laziest solution they could come with. if they made elites worth killing (actually any mobs beside champs) and impossible to skip (with like…closed doors?) ppl wouldnt mind looking for shortcuts
