Is this achievement bugged or is there something special you have to do? According to the description, you get it so long as you don’t fall into the lava in there but I’ve run it several times now without falling into the lava or even getting caught in the puddles on the last boss and still not gotten it. What am I missing?

I got it by random chance – I don’t know how it triggers, but the only sure-fire way I got it was to not touch any lava on the outside of the island or any of the puddles AND never stop moving so I don’t get any burns. I can only assume you have to fulfill all 3 of those criteria at minimum, but there might also be other parts of the dungeon that affect it eg. getting burned by the trails left by the boulders.

I have it, but I have no idea how I did. I think you can kick those puddles and not get it, though. I can’t imagine that I’ve ever gone through that whole last fight without getting burning on me.

I beleive you may also need to stay out of the puddle areas altogether regardless if there is lava there or not.

I got the acheivemen without really thinking about it but I believe that is how a guildy got hers.

Just checked, and I have this achievement done. The description says “without falling in the lava” which obviously means what it sounds like, and I’m not sure if there are other hidden requirements for it.

I got it on a random 48 run about the 100th time doing shaman so I really cant say if anything was different that run, If you do it enough times chances are you’ll get it eventually

The burning debuff only shows up if you stand still? So you can avoid it by continuously moving? What about spells that require you to stand still or reviving people? Will those trigger it?

Yeah, I tried that and still don’t have it.

The main issue is probably that you can’t stop to res anyone who is downed because then you’ll get the burning on you :/

If you really want the achievement Id recommend rolling on lvl 1 til you get grawl and trying it on that

Yeah that’s pretty much what I decided I’ll have to do. Got into it last night on 28 but it’s just too hard to never stop to heal or rez or cast aoe spells. You can’t get downed either. I think it’s ironic that we have an ach for basically ignoring our party and not utilizing all our skills.

I’m not sure that burning counts… the achievement title and description focus on the floor which would suggest not standing in lava or getting burning from standing still.

I have fractal frequenter achivement, done fotm tons, got like 6 skins total, 33 personal levels on two characters, maybe 9 backpices total, still no achivement for this.

I doubt it would count but than again it could since its so hard to get. Im ready to just pay people to do this level on level 1 fotm for me… and i just leech…. cmon ivec done this so much how can i never get it :c

I think it does because I’ve done it as carefully as I possibly can a dozen times or more. No fire from the rolling balls, no touching of full or empty lava pits, and no falls into lava anywhere else. Still no achievement. Thing is, you literally cannot stand still for more than the .05 seconds it takes to stop pushing keys to double tap for dodge or else you trigger it. This Hot Foot burning thing is the only thing left that makes any sense whatsoever.

I haven’t gotten it either, done it many times with my mesmer. I even tried it once without using clones and staying far from the lava spots. The only conclusion I have is: If you get a burning condition anytime during the fractal, you won’t get it.

If anyone wants to try it at level 1, even a few times until the whole group gets the achievement, I’d me up for it using my rifle warrior. I’m on everyday at reset time.

Just did this achievement last night after several tries.

The fire trails from the Fire Boulders does not count against.
The Agony arrow that inflicts burning does not count against.
The “hot foot” debuff does not count against.

Falling into the lava when running down to the last boss does count.
The active lava founts at final boss fight do count.
Don’t know about the inactive ones, I did dodge roll through an inactive one on the run I received the achievement.

Don’t know if rezzing counts against, don’t see why it would as did get the hot foot debuff a few times but I didn’t stop to rezz anyone on my attempts at fear of not getting it.

Most of the other FotM achievements don’t require finishing the fractal, this one does.
