The hardest part of Giganticus Lupicus is...
Try this
Warrior : Dodge backward + Whirlwind forward.
Guardian : Dodge backward + Shelter/Focus#5/Renewed Focus while moving forward.
Mesmer : Blurred Frenzy.
I rarely got hit by his aoes.
What is really funny is that this game is out since late August, simple guide for Lupi was on wiki (takes you 1 min to read) at least from October (didn’t do Arah before that) and there it specifically says that his attack isn’t AoE but projectile and red circles just show where it will land. So many posts about this, so many players still don’t realise it, so little hope for GW2 playerbase.
…just feedback Lupi before he releases the projectiles causing that mass AoE, and enjoy the show.
" So many posts about this, so many players still don’t realise it, so little hope for GW2 playerbase."
Players are allowed to play the game for themselves rather than walk through the game.
Also I think there was a video link posted on the forum that showed many spurious hits from Lupicus on players who were standing outside the circles and standing off the missile path.
Sure. But these players that “play the game themselves” then come on here and complain that he’s too hard or about other aspects of him.
That is indeed true.

Watch Wethospu video & comments about projectiles hitting player already down & in between circles in this link.

Just started watching video and first projectiles that hits him is right on mark, i told you again and again it’s not AoE but projectile! Red ring shows where will it land, he was standing between red ring and lupicus, so he was on the way of projectile and got hit. So what’s the problem?
Watch it again.

Dude i killed him many times, what’s the problem? Or are you gonna tell how all you guys who can’t kill him are right and all us that can kill him are wrong?

Yes, you are wrong.
The point is we are talking about projectile hitting player between circles (hint: Player is already down & do you know how tall a person is when laying on the ground) and you go off tangent about something else.
If you concentrate on reading comprehension, instead of insisting that you are right, then you would know exact the time frame we’re talking when that projectile hitting Wethospu in between circles. I leave that as a reading exercise for you.
Oh by the way, unless you show a video tube that you soloing Lupi, you never did kill Lupi. Your party all together did. And there is a difference in “I killed Lupi” & “We killed Lupi”.

Hostile posts will not get things anywhere other than the thread locked. Attacking him over semantics regarding how GL was killed is not the way to go.
A player laying down does not change his hit box from that of him standing. If this was the case then people would be doing the sleep emote to evade attacks. He stated that the red circles are where the projectiles land. They are not aoe circles. You’re not taking into account the size of the projectile as well as its path.
Just count the amount of circles and projectiles.
Think this has been said a million times but here goes again… The circle indicates where the snot lands, but the snot does not end after it landed, it bounces around after it impacted on the ground, thus u can still get hit even if your out or away from a cirle. Mystery solved.
I abhor any elitist attitude toward other players and respond in kind. It’s not a semantic correction. It reminds him or any elitist for that matter who hasn’t killed Lupi soloing that they might not be a good player as they think they are so don’t look down to other players. But I digress.

Skychef is right and he has run a ton of Arah. When Lup does that attack he sort of flings the poison jars so they tend to land all over the place and not specifically in the center of the circles. At range its easily avoided. Up close you need to use other means to avoid taking damage.
As soon as Lupicus starts the mass AOE attack, I turn around and run away from him. Depending on the distance between you and Lupi, you don’t need to dodge as soon as a red circle appears on or near you. If you’re relatively far away when the attack begins, you can simply run over the red circles and you won’t get hit because of the travel time of the projectiles. I only dodge/evade/block when the farthest-reaching projectiles are about to land and only if I’m still relatively close to a circle. I rarely get damaged by a stray projectile and I don’t recall ever being downed from his AOE attack.
The single-target attack is what gets me personally, but only if I’m out of dodges or my side-stepping didn’t “confuse” it.
Whatever this attack does, it should be graphically intuitive if it isn’t following the usual red circle mechanics. When you evade forwards into a thrown boulder and get hit you can work out that the boulder carved out a path. This thread demonstrates that whatever is going on it isn’t entirely intuitive.
hardest thing I find with lupi is when I used my skills in the wrong time and they are on cd when I need them to not die. No other bosses punish me like that.

Ehh, not quite. I’ve done Lupi fight countless amount of times and one dodge is enough to escape any damage by snot (as long as you know what you’re doing)

Looting the basterd. It’s always dissapointing.
The hardest part of Lupus is getting the kitten to barrage instantly in phases 2 and 3.
Here are some tips for Lupicus.
Beginners: keep spread around the boss and as far as you can hit him. When he begins casting the red circles, dodge AWAY from him, so you are not in the way of a projectile. Remember this: the projectiles move in zig-zag to their location, so if you are far away you have more than enough time to walk though a red circle without being hit (sometimes the red circle will even disappear BEFORE the projectile actually hits its location)
Advanced: stack right below the boss, when you see the red circles, dodge out as fast you can (the projectiles will cover a shorter distance from his hand to his feet, so you have less time to evade). The advantage of stacking on Phase 2 is that the red circles will be concentrated on a smaller area, which means you have more free room to avoid them.
It is also important to note that Lupicus will still attack you with a targeted projectile that does not produce a red circle. This projectile hits as hard as the red circle ones. So it is important that you have your camera setup and that you are looking at the boss to see if a projectile is coming in your direction. If it is, you can evade (or block) it.

Yes, besides his loot, the poison dome on phase 3 is the most frustrating part of Lupicus. Even if you dodge out of it, it will still pull you back in. It is irritating.

What is stability?
As long as it is not on cool down, yes, that works. And some classes can even be invulnerable to it.
Rezzing your group because three players got killed while trying to help a downed teammate in phase 2.

Stand your ground.
Actually the hardest part of GL is sucessfully leaving the fight instead of finishing him off…
