With how crazy conditions are right now, has sinister replaced zerker for the meta? At least for classes like engi’s, thieves, and others with good condi damage. Is it worth the effort to craft a set of sinister gear?

Nope, because it takes a few seconds to ramp up, and in those few seconds the boss could already be dead. Lupi taking 11s now >.<. Grenade Barrage → Acid Bomb → Flame Blast → Jump Shot → Blunderbuss → hope you caught a dodge and 4X orbital. In that time many bosses will be dead.

At least in meta groups.

Sinister and condi’s are certainly interesting but with potential nerfs and the math still needing to be done, hard to say for sure, but I know I’m making a second set of Sinister.

From my own experience, Lupi went down hella fast last night with everyone testing our zerker builds. Jerus saying 11s isn’t that far of a stretch from what we hit as well. In that amount of time, you’d be hard pressed to ramp up high condi stacks and get in some good ticks. Other dungeon bosses went down faster now than pre-patch.

Time will tell, but on the face of it, looks like power is still king.

This I agree with, to the extent that Condi vs Power, well who really cares unless you’re really in to min/maxing completely. Defensive builds are still going to lack, and go far enough it might even be noticeable

I mean, it’s still full zerk and necro is still bottom of the barrel. =/
