Hi all, quick question:

Friend of mine was running thief in fractals the other day and wanted some tips of what utilities to run for Thaumnova Boss. What would you guys run? Also, what heal and elite as well?

Smoke screen against his projectile attack, shadowstep if you get the KD and a platform is about to disappear and maybe the signet of agility (good active and passive). As for your elite, either DS for more reflection or thieves guild for extra DPS. Withdraw is good for that extra dodge against his bomb.

Sounds good – I think the concern was that mobility skills like Withdraw have the chance of moving you backwards into a hole. Do you feel it’s still worth the risk?

“Look behind” keybind is your friend

i just prefer hide in shadows, as it’s more healing, and free backstab. and i dont have to look behind + at the end of the fight there aren’t many platforms left so its even more dangerous
