wondering what people do for this i know everything well on thief for dungeons and other fractals but for some reason i cannot get this one down idk if its something im missing or what? if anyone has a video or advice on how to do or a play by play it would be much appreciated, thanks!

Won’t have the same dodge ability anymore. That said, it seems leaps are no longer crippled by the movement debuff… maybe it just seemed that way to me, but it seemed like my rocket boots worked full strength when I did it today on Engi (did it on a 50, but put in 2 cooling rods).

Yup, leaps work better than before, had it on my war today and using the leaps of rampage I made it almost all the way.

Did not look that deeply into the thief changes but it seems you are right. Not only less dodges, but less damage reduction while in stealth (resilience of shadows now is only 25%).

If you want to do it without changing traits or armour. Slot shadow step, agility sig, hide in shadows and shadow trap. Shortbow 5 max range, dodge, dodge, agility sig(while using shadowstep), shadow step max range, lay down shadow trap, shadow return, depending on your current agony tick, either dodge first or use hide in shadows, make sure the heal portion of the skill activates when you don’t have agony on you, dodge again.

When you are back outside the room and heal up, wait for your cooldowns to come off then use destroy shadow trap, and follow the same steps without using shadow return or shortbow 5.

You can also swap flanking strikes for thrill of the crime to get swiftness, pop your steal as you shortbow, or as you activate destroy shadow trap.

thanks slydevil but from the looks of it seems like warrior might be the best bet for this yet again.

If you have a norn, bear form is easy mode for that room.

why would you mention warrior and safe bets then? you changed the topic not me x_x

saying that warrior is probably better at doing it then thief lol, considering a necro would never be in my party.

Ey necros aren’t that bad now. At least they have a unique group dps buff now coupled with good vuln application.

something that other classes do better…

yeah i saw this wondering what a trait setup would be if anything different i just know the shadowtrap way

yeah but you gain 25% damage reduction in stealth (wich im not sure if it works) and the rest is basicaly still the same, expect lower health and healingpower from traits. Also hard to catch refills your endurance and as far as i remember one of the skills induces fear :P

Thanks perry have it saved gonna give it a shot, the shadowtrap way is nice and easy but not to quick considering you have a 50 second CD to wait for…

Also another side note no vitality from SA anymore which could impact it quite a bit

Here you go, i was lucky to get this fractal on the first try
In my opinion it is 100% reliable if you manage to do withdraw and RfI forwards.

Works on 50 and without cooling rods.
