Many PUGs refuse to run CM any path without a thief.

thieves are a staple in many “meta” groups. 2 Ele one thief. the other two are situational.
and it s not just the stealth. The damage, the synergy with the rest of the group and well just yeah… they are in a good place.
The people that knew well they already knew. but the rest of PuGland finally is starting to catch up.
DPS thief builds are ideal FGS holders, too.
Yep. Thieves are pretty good in dungeons. Though they do have a redundancy issue, since a thief fills their niche so well, that a second thief won’t do it any better.
