We all being there, we know the constant party swipe skills, insta kills and the monster hoarding there is.

And its good you are encouraging people to complete the dungeons.

Haven’t done any explorable, but after doing AC I was underwhelmed, everyone said it was really hard.

Died 3 times on the lovers, twice we had no plan, just rushed in, once I kitten up and ran into an AOE.

That’s story mode though, which is a step down from explorable. AC is quite easy compared to the other dungeons, only route two requires effective dps to clear before they clear you. (The 8 ghosts at the end can be a real pain with pugs that are undergeared/bad traits)

EM dungeons are hard. And I say let them be hard. Even harder (this doesnt mean give the mobs/bosses 5x more hp). This is this game’s Endgame, so its supposed to be hard for crying out loud.

Idk, if you have a good party, the mobs with 5x hp and even bosses drop like normal ones you’re used to in solo pve.

If you have a bad party, like I did last night doing AC with a pug group I joined to test my rewards again, they won’t have enough damage for your tank (me in this case) to survive long enough kiting and evading four ascalon ghosts and clear them.

I’m not really understanding the difficulty complaints either. I came out of AC explorable on the weekend and a few people were outside calling it a hell hole and saying they couldn’t finish it because they ran out of money. We’d just done explorable in around an hour and made a profit, while joking around on TS.

I must say Inci, it’s really nice of you to offer to help people with dungeons like this. Don’t see that kind of thing much on mmo forums.

Just sad nobody actually takes me op on it. Apparently they’re just frustrated with the fact that they can’t do it without my help and are scared their pride may take a hit if I show them it’s actually very possible. Or that’s the only excuse I can think of..

Arah I only do in the evenings, I prefer short dungeons during the day so I can get work done too. So CM, CoF, AC etc..

ah ok, i’ve added you. Add me and if you do any arah runs and i’m online i would be happy to tag along and see how its done.

Apparently that’s something new, I’m doing Arah again tonight, haven’t done her since last weekend. If it’s just about the sparks, takes practice but you have to do it exactly right to get her.

We did it for 2 hours, we know how the sparks work. Still not 100% sure what the activate part on the statue is for, but mainly just getting a spark into the shield-laden circles is all you need, and they’ll pop and reveal her. In addition, I know you can hit her while she’s stealthed (not that it does much good to counteract her immense health regeneration, even poisoned).

Sometimes it helps getting all 5 sparks lol.

Let’s see.. What server do you play, what server do people you play with play on and how do you go about trying to enter the same instance? Or can’t you enter it at all? If you can’t enter, try exiting the game and logging in again. If that doesn’t fix it, put all the answers to these questions in a support ticket under dungeons.

I can’t zone into any AC/CM/TA/COF/SOE on SM/EM, whether we’re all on the same server, or have cross-server party group.

We all end up in separate instance, or some people are forced to pick SM when we’re zoned into EM.

HROUDA IS ALREADY AWARE OF THIS ISSUE. WOULD RATHER KEEP BROKEN DR THAT NO ONE EVEN LIKES OR SUPPORT BUILD THAN REVERT TO WORKING PRE 9/19 BUILD. THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS ON MY SERVER CAN’T RUN DUNGEONS. BUT IT’S OKAY WITH HROUDA AS LONG AS HE HAS DIMINISHING RETURNS IN THE CURRENT BUILD.

My problem with Dungeons in GW2 not because it’s hard, but it’s BAD DESIGN. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game, I like the idea of no holy trinity require in this game. However Dungeon in GW2 is the low point of this game.

- Boss fights need to be about 25% shorter and have multiple phases to make them more interesting (My big problem for most bosses in this game is many of them have excessive HP and excessively simplistic behaviors).
- Trash mobs shouldn’t have too much excessive HP.
- Cross server run is a must. Right now, I have a hard time for LFG to people to run in some dungeons, I don’t care about Dungeon Finder or not, I just want the easier way to gather people for running dungeons. It’s annoying me when I want to run that dungeon but no one in my server don’t want to join me.

They arnt hard either easy as balls ive never not finished a dungeon, only a few times that actually took effort cause of other people not doing so well. And what about them is fun half the boss fight there is no real chance of dying and if you do you just run back or have a teamate rez u because the boss only hurts one person at a time. 1/4 of the bosses u can afk during and auto attack for the win.

Yeah I’m really hoping expansions give some more challenging fights.
