Just note, I done trio a couple times successfully alrdy. Maybe a dozen times or so, maybe try for it 0-1 times a week since it kinda bores me to death. Usually don’t have much problem with it.. but only cos I don’t gotta do much. So I just slack on it and without extra roles it’s prty much a snoozefest up until last boss. In fact I’m not even assigned any extra roles.. so I can afford to not be aware of 50% of the boss-specific mechanics and still get it done. But lately I been assign sab duty as ps (warrior). This is new to me for many reasons. First, no one ever tasked me to do it so I have zero practice ofc (I understand the mechanics). Second, I only play ps war half the time for trio anyway, tbh I get bored easy with any class I do it. Also someone else usually volunteers to solo sabs so I dun gotta worry abt cc them and stuff.

So understanding aside, I still die way too easily after last boss spawns. When I down/die that’s also lead to higher chance for my grp to wipe, I know this. I can solo earlier sabs when they spawn prty easily. In fact the commander tend to assign both ps for sab duty so u would think I got some elbow room to work with.. but the other dude always without fail relegates this duty to me. To further compound my stress it seems, the cmd will remark how he could’ve assigned just one ps to handle sabs, since one guy is all u need for it. However that doesn’t explain why I die too fast, or what I’m doing wrong

Like I said am aware of mechanics, no need to explain spawn time to me. 1st sab early then long break, then short interval like half-minute between sab spawns – ye I get that. But problem is I dunno where I’m expected to be past last boss (Narella?) spawn. Before fight start I’m running thru mid so I get most of aggro from mobs. Then I stack on boss and put banners, don’t get much chance to do nothin before I gotta hightail it back for sabs lest they wipe our grp. So I gotta try and alternate like this, but problem here that soon it turns into a kittenstorm that I’m not sure I can navigate single-handedly. Running full dps utilities ofc, berserker heal and dual banners and stuff, so I got no leeway except a kittenty shield block. So dilemma here is run to cage too early, eat crossfire from most of mobs and risk running into hazards like pairs of fire tornadoes and patches of flak (throwback to sab encounter) strewn everywhere, basically end up with a kittenton of condis on me and downing from them, or go too late and arrive just in time to watch helplessly as sab blows up its target and wipes our entire grp. Doesn’t help that no one else follows me, so basically am self sustain for heals and can’t reliably count on res if I’m downed by mobs. Without heal signet too and full dps utilities, I’ve basically got low self sustain by myself so dunno how I’m expected to survive the clusterkitten that I step into soon as I get to mid. So any tips or point out what I’m doing wrong? This is prob a rare occurrence that I’d get called out to get on sabs but just in case I wanna be prepared so I don’t mess up or get myself killed or smthin

If you have beehives left over after Berg is dead, move those closer to the prisoner cage. Once Narella spawns, pick up one of the beehives and throw it using the 1 skill, on the ground in front of the cage. The effect will last for a couple of sab spawns, just keep an eye on them, you’ll see a debuff below their health bar. The bees will take care of the CC on the sabs, you just need to remember to put one down and reapply as needed.

So I just slack on it

Stop doing that. Go read a guide. Perhaps listen to the commanders whose pug groups you’ve joined…..

That’s all the advice i’m going to give. See you next week.

like somebody said, the beehives are useful. On top of that you can run heiling signet

Exactly this – pretty handy thing to know/do.
