To me the real problem: Mobs are harder than bosses?
Keep in mind it is still a learning process for many. A way to make the packs easier is by pulling the mobs out one at a time. I know thieves have an ability called Scorpion Pull that allows them to pull one mob away from a pack without aggroing the rest. From what I understand their are a few other classes with similar abilities..
if you have 5 trash you all have to focus 1 down before you all die runback and repeat until your left with 1 …
yeah man fun timez
I would say that depends on your thinking. Who says bosses have to be stronger than mobs?
King Boss? I thought he was just the King. he wasn’t even using his special sword(iirc).
Some of the hardest “fights” in this game arent the mobs or bosses but the traps.
Im looking at you Gend. MiniDungeon.
Also a lot of the bosses have been “nerfed” why? I dont know, but it wasn’t because I complained.
But there is a difference between true difficulty and tedious difficulty.
in most action games (especially those wellmade ones like devil may cry 3) mobs or bosses do not oneshot you but rather have difficult moves that requires timing, strategy or counters to stop them corner you and destroy you, that is true difficulty.
so far for what i’ve seen is mob packs with total of million hp and 1 shotting abilities, yes you can dodge but only twice, when there are 3 of them spamming aoe in a tight tunnel (which AC is full of) dodge become absymal, Why cant we have those archers with better AI and less hp, using a strategy against players? oh i know, too difficult to create that level of enjoyable difficulty.
anyone played diablo 3 inferno difficulty? yes thats exactly what the dungeons currently are, and as expected people will defend this kind of difficulty.

Sounds like a game I played recently, called Guild Wars 2.
Edit: Oh, wait, this rant is about the archers? Throw up one of the dozens of AoEs or skills that deflect or reflect projectiles, then /dance as the archers do nothing at all.
I would disagree. I would say the difference is in the beholder.
Also quite presumptuous there on why things arent the way you want them to be.
What you call “true difficulty” I call a crap ton of trash mobs. Way more than any Ive seen in GeeDubz.
Boss = 1 mob
trash = multiple mobs
this is why bosses seem easier to you. Maybe your group needs a bit more time strategizing, or needs a bit more practice focusing on one as multiple mob pulls are always a little more hectic and chaotic since you don’t have a tank to aoe pull so you can aoe facemash dps rotations.
CM is a prime example of this. The bandits are ALWAYS more of a threat then the bosses.
