To raise awareness and support PvE Events
Extra tokens sounds pretty good, yeah
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Gw2 is eSports
So no buffs for You…

Bravissimo, darling!
Another cool idea that i read somewhere (don’t remember where) was to implement Bonus-Weekends like in GW1. This would mean, e.g. on weekend 1 it’s arah-bonus-weekend and the rewards from arah are doubled. Next weekend its HotW-weekend and so on.
Sadly though this will never happen…
I support OP’s idea. The imbalance between the 3 game modes is abysmal. All their attention goes to the failed wanna be esport mode, in detriment of the other 2 game modes (wvw and pve).
This is a cool idea, but they don’t do it for community-run events, only things planned and managed by ANet themselves. That includes the ESL, GO4, WTS, ToL, and a few other scattered one-offs ANet manages. The only way we could get this to happen is if we got ANet to host some kind of dungeon event themselves… That seems unfortunately very unlikely.
Anet should give out legendaries to top 3 team
Wynd Cloud | Fierce N Licious
Sorry — they’re trying to kill dungeons, not promote them.
Won’t happen.
Go on strike and stop buying gems…? Idk i think that’s the only way to get ane’ts attention these days
As if losing the purchases of dungeon community is going to change anything.

lol, I stopped buying gems years ago when they broke Alphard.
Not going to give support to a company that can’t even answer “Did you mean to do this, or is it a bug?”
And here we are with Lupi. Go ANet, keep up the great work!
But yeah, there are enough people buying gems for shineys every patch that they really dgaf about us not buying them. They’d probably love it if all of us disappeared and no one touched any of the dungeons again.

Yeah, we’re such a small percentage of the whole community… why would they give a kitten? I wouldn’t. Not when there are nutties out there spending 5k dollars on gems.
Not sure why people are still at it and insisting, as I keep saying in every thread. I’m starting to sound like a broken record even more than the actual people making these disconnected threads. “We need more dungeons”, “Promote dungeon updates”… what year is this!? 2012?
that would be sweet, i mean anet still owes us dungeon tokens because of the DR anyway eheheh
It is almost the anniversary of the date where they announced “no more dungeons,” right? (I remember it as being during gamescom, could be wrong). So what about a week-long celebration where they reduce the number of dungeon tokens everyone gets.
I guess what we can do is actually delete/hide all the guides and stop dungeon mentoring so that other players cry for support…but its not a good move for the community. But then whatelse can we do anyway.
All the balance patches are geared towards pvp, wvw players are actually excluded from their beta tests due to lack of popularity, and dungeon community gets no support at all. Unless there’s a huge uproar just like the don’t preorder HoT debacle, anet won’t care.

Yes!
Shuffle through:
Double pvp reward
Double wvw reward
Double world boss reward
Double event reward
Double dungeon reward (probably not all at once, but 1-2 dungeon each time)
Double gathering stuff
Maybe i’m forgetting some things, but add them too!
They could even make it region-specific, like Ascalon-weekend, every event/worldboss/dungeon/gathering node in Ascalon gives double reward

So you just listed 4 spvp events managed by anet and 0 for pve/wvw. As the pve forum specialist don’t you think they should stop with this predilection towards spvp and give some attention to the rest of the playerbase?

Do you think they will change their marketing strategies based off of what he alone says?
Of course it is unethical for the health of a game to completely ignore community subsets. Rising Dusk can only do so much; he can send them as many heart-filled messages as he likes, but we all know how Anet likes to operate and it’s always more realistic to assume that anything involving them exerting effort into improving the dungeon community, they will not be willing to do.
P.S. – we’re on the same team, I want them to quit with the e$ports too.
