AFAIK, an ascended viper’s back doesn’t exist in the game, but Trailblazer’s does. You lose a fair bit of power/prec on it but I’m pretty sure as condi necro that’s a fairly small % (but not insignificant, by any stretch) of your overall DPS.

No idea on condi necro since idk if there are any traits that allow you to condi duration cap without trinkets.

However, the new PvP legendary back has Viper’s stats. I’m guessing the Fractals legendary is the same.

And, you know, it’s not a big deal to grind for a legendary back piece, cuz crafting full ascended in Viper’s and doing all the LS achievements for Sinister’s trinkets wasn’t a grind at all. =P
