Soon I will remake the video without music, so everyone can see it.
Did you skip or clear trash? Also how did you do 3-Knight pack? (tried it on my war but no chance)
I couldn’t do that, please nerf :P Heh, good work!

I skipped trash, maybe lame but I would have no chance against group of these guys.
About the Leurent adds. Afaik I wasn’t drunk yesterday, but I recall that there were 2 knights and one archer. Well, still it was quite tricky. I wanted to record it as well, but after several tries I stopped, Fraps is rapidly decreasing my FPS, as am playing on 4 years old notebook.
I managed to pull the first knight while others left combat, focus skills helped me to survive his crushing attacks. Then I realised I can pass them, on the other side there were some little plants (I really cannot recall the name), so I used them every time I got downed, because this time I had to kill knight and archer at once.
I hope it was understandable enough, as you see English is not my native language :P

I haven’t done TA in some time but patch notes were saying something about adjusting Leurent encounter.
From patch notes:
Explorable—Leurent Boss Encounter: The group composition has been adjusted
That makes more sense then.
Nice work. My personal opinion on why F/F is considered the most difficult is because of the trash. There are several knights and wolf packs which you don’t deal with on other paths. If your group can’t CC them (Frost Trap, Static Field, Muddy Terrain, Entangle, Barrage etc) they will usually wreck your party. If you CC them and focus them down before they reach you, they aren’t too bad. Skipping the knights on F/F is also generally harder than the skips people do on Up.
Yeah the Leurent encounter has been changed, it didn’t bother me too much before – I always pulled them one by one. If nothing else, the CC trick to get them to separate (or simply not wreck your party) taught a lot of people how important and powerful CC is on otherwise difficult encounters. I think that fight was an important learning curve for a lot of people when dealing with difficult melee mobs in dungeons. A lot of the groups struggling with Mossman after they removed the cheese could learn a lot from TA melee encounters, a little bit of CC (which every class has) makes him significantly easier to handle.
The final fight used to be the hardest (it was the only one I never saw commonly glitched until people started using portal guns). The other two paths were easy to AFK until F/U was buffed. I’ve never enjoyed the final fight of F/F so I’d be interested to see how you handled it. Thirty minutes seems like a long time (of the three tree fights, F/F always seemed to go down the fastest – probably because people can go all out and melee instead of max range and no AoE), so I’m guessing it involves a lot of pulling or strafing.
And yeah, those death blossoms are your best frienemy.

Does it mean the video is also blocked for you? Am already rendering it without music, in few hours it will be online.
30 minutes.. problem was that I couldn’t focus on boss, I had to pay attention on adds, whenever I killed one, he was replaced fast. I was forced to kite them and run around main boss, still I was getting knocked down and rooted. Soon you will see
As I promised, I remade the video without music, so this time it should be available to all countries and everyone! Afaik people from US couldn’t watch it till now. I hope you will enjoy the video and leave comment if you like it.
